Don't be fooled
Don't be fooled by the fact that this little food processor looks like a piece of junk! It is noisy, but powerful. I grated some (old) hard Romano cheese that yesterday BROKE my Cuisinart Little Pro which I've had for years! I love the shredder/slicer disc which does either job, depending on which way is up. I also LOVE the fact that it is so LIGHT! I'm 80 years old and arthritic.....heavy appliances are becoming tough for me to move in and out of cupboards. I have the BIG Cuisinart Food Processor for big jobs, like shredding a whole head of cabbage or making a double batch of hummus; this little 2-cup processor, however, is just perfect for those small jobs, like shredding a few carrots, mincing an onion, grating a cup or so of cheese, making remoulade sauce or mayonnaise....THANKS, Cuisinart! I've seen complaints about getting cut while connecting the blade to the center spindle...but honestly, it is quite easy to click into place if you're holding the blade by the plastic part. Yes, you will cut yourself if you hold the blade by it's metal blade part. There is no audible "click" or "snap"....it just slips into place. It is equally easy to separate the blade from the spindle: hold onto the plastic parts (spindle in one hand, blade part in the other hand....and turn them apart (in opposite directions, of course).

Excellent Purchase for Household of Two
Most compact food processors (4 cups) don't come with a grating and slicing blade. Furthermore, the chopping/puree blade is dual-sided, one side is sharper. The wattage power is also stronger than food processors of the same size.I've easily chopped ground chicken, nuts, and grated carrots. The 4 cup size is absolutely perfect. I can make pesto for 4, and quickly chop onions. At $38.99 plus tax I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It's powerful, space efficient, and easy to clean. BUY IT.

Love the smaller size
This food processor worked great to slice up my veggies for the dish I was making. I used to have a little 1 1/2 c food processor that I had to get rid of when the plastic cup broke and couldn’t be replaced, and while I couldn’t find another that small, I’m very happy with this 4 c food processor. I also have a Cuisinart 8 c food processor, just wanted something a little smaller. This fits the bill perfectly!

Small but mighty
Below is my latest review after having this small food processor since July. I’ve used it maybe 10 times at the most but today went to use it and the blade shaft attachment just spins but doesn’t spin the blade. Plastic notches that hold the blade in place have worn off apparently. So disappointing and sad. Tried to use the support website and the link is apparently no good because it doesn’t take you anywhere. Says it’s broken. Wish I could have gotten help. I really like this little thing.July review ; Was worried it wouldn’t work well but I was wrong. It’s great. Powerful little guy. Decided to try it after my second Cuisinart died.Blends well and works well to make MayoNeed to remember to chop whatever you are going to blend in there small enough to help it do its job It’s small so small pieces. Works very well. Highly recommended for small kitchen cooking adventures

Versatile yet small
I broke my thumb and cannot grate cheese. I own a 4 cup cuisinart chopper, but couldn't find a shredding option to work with the appliance. FINALLY found this Cuisinart Tasty, which was small (4-cup) so works with my smaller kitchen and easy for 1-person cooking, and also comes with a shredder!! It works great as Cuisinart products do, and it has the two primary functions I need.... shredding and chopping! A+

Loved it for 5 months until chop blade quit working
It's a small blender that fits my needs well without taking up so much cabinet space as the big ones plus it is easier to clean. I didn't use it often but whenever I did, it had good power and did any grating or chopping I needed. But after only 5 months, the chopper blade wouldn't stay snapped onto the center post once the blender was turned on which made it useless for chopping. My mechanical engineer husband fixed it by drilling a small hole through the center post at the location of a notch on the collar of the blade piece. He screwed in a short bolt (see pic). Now the chopper blade doesn't pop off the center post. When I need to use the blender for shredding, I'll need to unscrew the bolt to take off the chopper blade. But at least the blender works again.

So easy to use!
This little gem is wonderful. It has functions and attachments that chop, puree, shred and slice. What more can you ask? I love that you don't have to fiddle around to get the container and motor seated. They glide into place. Easy to clean, too!
