Rough Country Folding Rear Tailgate Table for Jeep Wrangler JL/Unlimited (2018-2024)

This is one I believe in. Bought one for my Jeep several years ago and was impressed by it's utility and construction. When we bought another Jeep, for my wife, we bought this same table again. Simple to install and slim when closed. You can pay more for a different brand yet it's hard to beat the price and construction on this one.

Love this tailgate table, it makes camp cooking so much easier since I don’t have to bring or setup a camp table AND if I stop somewhere on the trail all I gotta do to have a table is open my tailgate! It’s very well built and very sturdy and the quality is great! It fit perfect and functions easily and the cool little flat finder cut in the back is a cool extra, I’d say it’s worth every bit of what I paid!

When the table arrived it was slightly damaged by a bolt that rubbed into the metal, not that big of a deal. One of the latches was missing the screws. I called Rough Country to inquire about getting the latch screws sent to me. Instead they sent me a completely new table that arrived a few days later, no questions asked. That's awesome customer service. They went above and beyond to make my situation right even though I just needed the latch screws. The install was very easy and everything fit great. The table is solid and does not rattle while driving. It appears to be very sturdy and I believe it will hold the weight that Rough Country states that it will hold. The materials it's made of is not flimsy at all. I am very happy with this table and feel that it will serve me well for many years to come. Rough Country is a stand up company in my opinion and they have more than earned my business in the future.

I think this was a fairly straightforward install. Jeep makes it very easy to locate where I needed a drill holes through the back panel on my 2021 JLUR. I recommend drilling, small holes and working your way up to the size you need, or purchasing a step drillbit. If you start with a large bit, you will catch the plastic and it’s harder to get a clean hole. It took a little longer than I thought it would to install, but I think that’s just because I didn’t realize I would be removing the back tailgate panel and drilling holes through it. However, it turned out great. My only complaint is the rubber stoppers that plug into the screws did not fit tightly, and I lost one of them within a week. Without the rubber stopper, the tailgate rattled and the left latch more easily became unhooked while driving. I will say the left latch did not seem to latch as securely as the right one, even before I lost the rubber stopper. I was able to find half inch plastic plugs that actually fit those holes and prevented some rattling. These plugs I bought are in my second picture for reference. The plastic plugs are working so well you’d actually think rough country would ship these pieces over using the rubber stoppers they sent. For the cost and relative ease of install, this is a good product. I just wish they sent extra rubber pieces or made them a snugger fit so they would not come loose.

Really simple install on my 2024 Rubicon X 4xe. Good directions included , a few YouTube videos helped too. My tip is to use a little loctite on the 4 mounting screws & add a thin smear of silicone to hold the rubber snubbers in their pockets. Heavy duty construction, good powder coating. No rattles, great fitment. Time to tailgate!

Very useful and use all the time when camping or if I need a place to hold stuff while parked. Easy install and useful accessory.

Bought used but in mint condition some minor marks. No instructions came with the table but rough country has a instructions video out there that is simple to follow. Table fits my 2020 jeep wrangler tail gate perfectly. Table is made well very thick metal. Looks well made. Will see how it performs on my up coming fishing trip.

Fantastic quality at a great price

I had great hopes for this table, which soon disappeared, as I inspected the product fo find a damaged distorted table frame with a crack in the table and clips which would not fasten - a total wast of my time and money, nothing like the product that we see advertised by Rough Country on YouTube.

I first bought a cheap imitation product on EBAY. The thing had terrible instructions and didn't fit, so I returned it. I bought this one and it fit perfectly. There's even a YouTube video to help with the install. What you'll notice is the little things like rubber mounts to help the table store well and not rattle. Highly recommended

Great product overall with solid quality — the only real issue is the metal clips. They create a constant annoying clinking sound from road vibrations. Rubber or soft-coated clips would fix this easily.
