Great read, and just as good as the first book in the series
I really, really enjoyed this book. It's the second in a series, but is actually a stand-alone story so you wouldn't have to read the first book to enjoy this.I absolutely loved the first book, and this book gave me those same feelings. It's just great. The main characters - Daniel and Charlie - are charming and have great chemistry, the story is engaging, and the whole novel is really believable and quirky in places. I loved the central story, and I loved all the secondary characters. This really was a classy book. Its warm and humourous and if, like me, you enjoy books that have a complete world, and an energy that keeps the story moving along, then you will enjoy this one. I'm really hoping there will be a book 3!!

It was an ok read
It was an ok read, bit predictably however I do love Daniel. He loves his daughter (outsiders not allowed) even his long term best friend, they have their ups and downs but love prevails

Loved this
This is the second book of the Loveless brothers, and as good as the first. Daniel, single dad to his daughter Rusty, has a best friend Charlie (Charlotte) and they have been the greatest of friends for nearly 20 years. Rusty’s mother decides that she can now be a full time mother, and in the ensuing court hearing, Daniel lets out the lie that Charlie and himself are now engaged. Really enjoyed the funny bits, the puppet porn was hilarious. Now downloading the next in the series.

a solid read
So I read this as soon as I finished the first in the series, and I’ll admit that I found this one a little harder to get into, purely because of the things Charlie gets up to. I found her to be a difficult character to not get frustrated with, and I could definitely see where Daniel was coming from when he got angry with her, but in the end, I did enjoy the story, and despite the frustration, I did like Charlie more than I disliked her. Looking forward to reading the next in the series to see what Levi gets up to.

Nothing fake
Daniel names Charlie as his fiancée, during a custody hearing, only 1 small problem in that she has been his best friend for 18 years with only 1 unmentioned romantic interlude 6 years previously. Can these friends pull off convincing everyone that they’re a couple or is the truth that they need to realise themselves that they always have been.Plenty of laugh out loud moments along with a couple of I had something in my eyes moments.Great story with a happy ever after.

Review: Loveless Brothers 2: Best Fake Fiance
Best Fake Fiance by Roxie Noir is the second book in her Loveless Brothers series. A friends to lovers and fake fiance story that starts in sheer desperation in a courtroom and ends in a beautiful happy ever after.Charlie is a carefree woman with zero organization skills but mad carpentry skills. Her best friend Daniel is a single father to a rambunctious and intelligent seven year old girl, Rusty. When Daniel comes up with this insane scheme of being engaged to Charlie in order to show the judge at the visitation hearing that he is the best parent for Rusty to live with, now he has to keep the charade going. Not a hardship - Charlie and Daniel are the best of friends, but adding the fake romance to their public lives rustles up feelings long buried by the both of them. Can their friendship survive their romance? Enjoy!

Crazy Cajun Book Addicts
Roxie Noir is a new author to me, I'm a massive fan of single parent stories and I loved Best Fake Fiance. It was well written and had great characters that were easy to relate to.Daniel is a single parent to his 7 year old daughter Rusty, faced with the prospect of losing her he tells a small white lie to the judge that he's engaged to his best friend Charlie. Now all he needs is to get her on board and hope that life isn't about to spiral out of control.A great story that I thoughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.

Good book
I quite enjoyed this story. Friends-to-lovers can be tricky, but as is stated in the story itself, this worked perfectly, almost seamlessly. They made sense together, and the chemistry was built up well. The so-called conflict was telegraphed way in advance, and the resolution was a little... meh. Could have been discussed more maturely, but it worked in the end with a nice romantic, all loose ends tied up, ending.

Lovely story
This is such a human story of two best friends and how they feel. It’s also a love can conquer all story.

Nice Fake Dating
I liked the book a lot because it‘s not the typical fake dating charade, there are actual stakes and the inner workings are quite believable. I just wished that few of the lingering questions I had were answered, like: did they do a story about their engagement? Also after the first quarter of the book the town-people took a backseat, it‘s not clear who won the money or what happened at the brewery.Haven‘t read the bonus chapter and am still only at the second Loveless-book, but I hope there‘ll be some answers later on.

intense plus
A wonderful story. I loved both Charlie and Daniel and how they step out of platonic into being lovers. Yes there are steamy scenes but that’s life. I loved Rusty, Daniel’s daughter. Precocious but loveable. The whole loveless family is awesome. Great read.
