Best double curtain rod
I researched online a bunch of these and from all points of view this is the best.It can support more weight ( it has more contact surface with the wall then the other one) and it looks stylish. The problem is that I cant buy this particular model in a longer size.I made extra holes to add more resistance - 2 extra holes might be overkill but 1 is definitely a good idea. This is the only version on the market that can allows you to make this modification.Add 2 more holes and your kids they can climb on the curtains like on a rope and still not take them downThe metal is thick enough for extra holes but is not strong metal is an light alloy. The competition, "Umbra" has some problems holding properly to the wall.

THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST EASY AND PRACTICAL CURTAIN ROD I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!!
THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST EASY AND PRACTICAL CURTAIN ROD I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!! I don’t usually write reviews, but seriously I love this curtain rod! The installation is so simple, it looks terrific, and I like how it curves at the sides so the curtain can block out light. I will be buying these exclusively from now on. Whoever designed this, I appreciate your thinking and design

Flimsy when Extended
These are inexpensive and would work if used on the lower end of the span they suggest. However, the metal is cheap and flexible, and bend under the weight of the curtains. The middle bracket has only a single screw to hold it in place, and a drywall anchor is provided, which is not nearly enough support here — it needs to be screwed into a stud. So, with flexible rods and a poorly designed middle support, both curtain rods I’ve put up have broken from the wall in the middle. If you need an inexpensive short span and have sheer or other super light curtains, these are OK. I would advise against using these anywhere near the longer range they’ve listed, or for any heavier curtains, like blackout curtains.

ONE YEAR REVIEW!
I have a very wide triple pane sliding door. It was quite difficult to find a rounded end double rod in the length I needed. The frame around the door buts directly up to the corner of the next wall so the rounded ends were they only option for this space. they are also the only way to get a true blackout experience with the sliding door I have. Took a chance on this one and wasn't disappointed. My ONLY negative is that the rods aren't far enough apart to conveniently accommodate both sets of curtains having metal grommets. My sheer and my room darkening are both 1.6 inches grommets, and it's a little tight passing front and back rods, but not tight enough that it's bothered me enough over the year they've been up to change them. I open and close them every day. I have six sheer panels and six blackout panels and the weight hasn't been an issue for the rods. I would absolutely purchase these over and over.

very nice; I recommend them
This is a very nice rod set; I've been using it a couple of months and am very happy with it. The rods did arrive with a little paint chipped off on the ends, which I thought was careless quality control (it didn't happen in shipping), but I gave them five stars anyway because the rods are so well-designed and nice. I got them because they could make a tidy, light-proof seam between the curtain and the wall, without a lot of extra width outside the window edge, which I didn't have, structurally.I have very high standards when it comes to sturdiness (my contractor calls me "the queen of overkill"), and this rod design is good. However, I bought the longer length, which was wider than my window when fully compressed, so both rods are doubled for their entire length. I even had to cut about a foot off each rod with a hack saw, but that was no problem (4 cuts). I don't know if it would be so sturdy if they were fully extended with only a 6" overlap in the center. As for the hanging bracket, it is very well designed. Of course, nobody expects to use the supplied screws. I used very long screws through the lath and plaster into the header. I thought there was going to be wiggle or possible up-rising in the mount joint, but this didn't happen; my wall is slightly irregular, so I had to tap the rod part down with a hammer and there is no movement there. I don't know if there might be some wiggle or up-rising with more regular walls, but if so, that could easily be remedied with some tape added for friction or something like museum gel.Note that the horizontal design of the bracket might cause an issue if you want to get both screws into a single stud; then you would need to use something with a vertical bracket. In my case, the brackets attached to a horizontal header, so I was better off with the horizontal bracket.
