Simple Houseware Mesh Hanging File Organizer, Silver

I took my chances on buying this black metal mesh hanging file organizer to match a higher end set of office accessories. It was easy to assemble and is not flimsy or cheap looking. It looks beautiful in my real estate home office! It holds the standard hanging file holders perfectly and surprisingly holds more files than I expected. Definitely good value for money.

I bought this product bwcause I needed something outside of my filing cabinets that I could set up to sort paperwork into files. This was super easy to put together and much sturdier than I imagined. My file folders hang perfectly and can be slid back and forth with ease. I can pick it up and move it around my office, I can pull it apart for ease of storage.Four stars only because if you dont handle it right, the top piece comes off pretty easy. There is nothing to secure the top piece to the sides. There are handles though so it's mostly human error that I have this issue!

Super easy to set up the top clips into the bottom. Fits Letter size hanging folders for 8.5x11 paper. Didn’t really notice the speedbumps but figured I could just hook the first and last file over the humps.

Package arrived as shown with a Prop 65 warning. This warning was not disclosed on the product page or photos before purchasing. From experience looking at metal bed frames I would guess this product has a contaminated powder coating on it.To each their own but I prefer to avoid risky products when possible and would not have purchased if I had had all the information. Having Amazon pickup tomorrow and will look for a safer product.

I got discounted ones because they said the original packaging was damaged. Item was in perfect condition. And thes folding file holders are so much better than the plastic ends connected by a rail or pivoting metal rail. They don't wobble, they are attractive, sturdy and you can move them. I bought some undermont drawer slides on Amazon Mounted a piece of wood on the slides and just put the file folder organizers on them. I like it better than file cabinets. That's a cheap TV stand also in there. One could just stack these on tob of each other. 3 of the lower file folder organizers are by Smead that is also a good design that can be deeper than the 15 inches these (top 2) are. They are also good though not really moving friendly and I like the look of these metal ones.

After checking, double-checking the measurements of this item with a file drawer, purchased this to simply drop it into a file drawer for easy access. Can lift out either selected folders, or the whole unit & contents. Am trying a different approach over all to the use of file drawers using several stand-alone units rather than the usual (messy) frame. Requires measuring to be sure, but so far so good.

I love this item. Great for files in process. I keep it on top of my file cabinet and it is wonderful.

This is perfect size to store files in my IKEA Kallax shelf. Love it!

This item fits perfectly snug inside the Ikea Kallax storage bins. It works with the Amazon hanging file holders.We will see how write Performa with time.I'm glad I didn't have to purchase a new piece of furniture and was able to repurpose the storage bins.

This filing option is a great alternative to buying a big, heavy filing cabinet.I have purchased 3 of these SimpleHouseWare mesh file organizers and they are great. So, easy to set up too. They are sturdy, yet light weight and they even come with rubber pads to prevent my desk from getting scratched. For the price I paid, this product is a fantastic value.

This solved some organization issues for me. I've been in serious need of a filing cabinet but just didn't want to spend the money, mostly because I didn't need a ton of filing space. As stated in a couple other reviews and as seen in my photo, this fits PERFECTLY in an Ikea Kallax shelf. All of my paperwork now has a home and is neatly tucked away in my desk. Can't recommend this enough!

Bought it to turn a box drawer in my Kallax IKEA shelf into a file cabinet and get rid of my old file cabinet.It fits TIGHT, to the point where it was a bit hard to get into the box, but now that it's in, it's there to stay. No wiggling here.Definitely recommend it for this use.
