EmersonCFDR2DBZ Ceiling Fan Downrod, 24-Inch Long, Distressed Bronze

This item was recommended by Amazon with purchase of the below ceiling fan and it was not compatible. The depth of the pre-fabricated slots to connect the downrod to the ceiling fan were too deep. These slots were intended for the rod and pin to go through ceiling fan / downrod / and celing fan again. It is not possible to get the pin through. I recently bought an Emerson ceiling fan (CF765BQ) on Amazon to install in my outdoor gazebo. I needed a longer downrod, because the 6" downrod that came with the fan was too short, and simply would not work for my purposes. I tried to buy a downrod from a local hardware store, but it did not work because the Emerson fan I bought only fits a 1/2" diameter downrod, and they only sold 3/4" diameter rods.I turned to Amazon, and bought this Emerson downrod. I was able to install my new ceiling fan without any issues after that. The downrod itself was pretty solid, thick, and well constructed. It also matched the color of my fan perfectly. It worked with my fan without and modifications, and was a perfect fit!

The downrod Technical Specs does not correctly specify the downrod diameter. The was described as 24x2x2 when it is actually 24x1/2.

These downrods were recommended as being sold with the ceiling fans we were also buying on Amazon. By the time we were finally finished remodeling the deck and were ready to install the fans -- and when the electrician was at the house and on the clock -- we discovered that the holes in the downrods and the holes in the ceiling fans did not line up. Because of construction delays, we are also outside the return window. An expensive mistake. I'm sure these are lovely rods, and the color matched the fans perfectly, but we could not overcome the functional issue.

I bought this thinking it was extra fan blade for my new fan. I misunderstood what I was buying and ended up returning. There’s was nothing wrong with it. It came packaged nicely and was sturdy and strong. Love the modern color.

We purchased this for the fan we installed in our three-season room (Emerson CF552ORB). The room is only one story tall but it has a vaulted ceiling (see my photos), so we purchased this 24" downrod to support the fan at an appropriate height and to give the blades clearance from the ceiling. It installed easily and perfectly matches the color and look of the fan.

You have to use Emerson because the standard ones that we have an abundance of that you can buy anywhere will not fit an Emerson fan fan

I used this to allow my ceiling fan to clear a main beam in my garage which is a metal building construction. Worked great on the Emerson HF1160BQ Industrial Fan. It's just a bit tricky to get the wires to go through the the inside of the rod. I had an electrical fish tape reel which worked reel to pull the wires through.

The paint looks cheap - ok, it's a problem, but not "the problem". I got a Havells Orion, and the screw did not fit through the hole. So, I had to send it to local shop for enlarging the hole. Also, I got the exact same product for Rs. 99 at the same local shop.
