Soaps turn purple
Lovely indigo powder. I use it to make soaps and it turns them purple. A little makes a light purple. A lot makes a deeper color.

Very nice but you get purple and grey and it's good
Yea it gives purple, but such a beautiful color. I'm ok with it considering when I try to use clay to get this color purple it's never dark enough. This does the trick. You get a gray color if you use a little and a beautiful purple if you use a lot.

EXPENSIVE!!
Meh. I got this for coloring soap - and there is just a tiny bit in an envelope. The price is crazy high. I regret purchasing something so pricey with less than stellar results. My mistake. Won't happen again.

The indigo powder works great. You don’t need much to make the soap blue.
I think the bag was like 2 ounces and that’s not very much. I wish they would’ve given you a little more but oh well. I’m a beginner soap maker, but I think it turned out just the perfect blue. I believe I use two small teaspoons full for a pound and a half or 2 pounds of lard tallow, cocoa, coconut, olive oil, and castor oil.

Makes blue soap
I've used other indigo products trying to make a blue colored natural soap. This indigo actually works to make blue. This color was 1 tsp in half a 1 lb batch. Its a very small packet though so pretty expensive. There's at most 4 tsp in the packet.

I used this powder to Dye my soap
I poured half the soap with out dye, then mixed a full 1 oz into about 1/2 gallon of soap base, then poured this into the molds. This didn't stain my hands or clothes blue, and washed out when cleaning up. Lovely RICH color. Worth it.The colors near the surface faded to a lavender, while the color internally made a lovely bluegrey tone. I'll post another picture in a few weeks when the soap cures.
