Got this as a replacement for my old one that broke and this haze been great!

We needed to replace a paddle that no longer worked. It had to be collapsible and easy to assemble/disassemble. After being in the ocean the salt needs to be washed off. This paddle fits the bill. Lightweight is important as we carry the equipment a fair ways to the water. Sturdy too to deal with light waves.

Instantly i could feel much more power in my strokes but make sure to tighten the screws before use about 20mins in the handle started to twist when i realized the screws for the locking mechanism were loose and could have resulted in the paddle falling apart in the middle of the lake.

This paddle is very heavy. The clamp that holds the paddle together when you extend the length broke after two uses. **Update**. I was sent a free replacement but it is now the end of the season. We will see how the second holds up next spring.

Haven’t tested the ability to float; paddles just fine, adjusts exactly as you expect. Only area for improvement is the finish on the aluminum shaft. It’s smooth, and therefore a little slippery when wet.Haha - phrasing.

The paddle is decent but it is not tight fitting at the lower joint. I added three wraps of scotch tape all the way around and it is better but still loose not sure how long that will last either.

product is poorly made. Extendable handle won't stay locked in position while paddling.
