Polly Pocket Compact Playset, Elephant Adventure with 2 Micro Dolls & Accessories, Travel Toys with Surprise Reveals

I have all four of the new Polly Pocket sets and as a collector, I love them all! This Elephant set probably ties for my favorite along with the Dolphin beach set. The animals are just SO cute! There’s a lot of space to play around and it feels like there are a lot of “sections.” I love the clear/blue plastic water. One thing I wish they had done was make the waterfall have a hinge so that you could open it and put the little fish inside. As it is, the only thing you can do with the fish is put him on top of the water. I suppose he could be food for one of the animals, but it wouldn’t hurt to have options. =) I think he would have been so cute in there and little details like that much such a difference. I really appreciate that they’re finally paying more attention to details. The background and ground graphics are colorful and detailed. I wish more of the plastic areas had more varied color, but they’ve done better with these than modern compacts of the past, so I’m hoping it’s a matter of time. The squishy heart is a cute touch, but I do worry how fast it will wear out and rip. That won’t make for a very pretty compact when/if that happens. I also wish the dolls were as good of quality as they make them look in the product images. With these newer sets, it’s a little more difficult to close because there is just SO many pieces (which is awesome)! I recommend putting as many little pieces as you can inside the flip out house area on the top of the case, and then arranging the bigger pieces in the top of the compact and closing it upside down. It seems to work a lot better that way. Overall, I love this set and am so happy to have it. I think any collector or Polly fan, old or young, would love it too!

My granddaughter loves to play with this set. She will sit and play with it for a long time! I highly recommend this toy!

I'm a big fan of the new Pop and Swap features in the Polly Pocket compacts. This is as close as they've gotten to recreating the magic of the '90s Polly dolls. The compacts themselves seem a little more detailed than previously rebooted ones, and the little accessories are very cute. I also like that you get a few more pieces because it feels like you're getting a little bit more for your money. Since the Polly sets are micro dolls, they can end up feeling a little pricey for what you get (at least to some people), so the fact that you get 15 pieces that you can move around helps a lot! Keep these coming (but keep them detailed and keep adding NEW details).

What a cute toy and a good price! I like how small it is. She can carry it in one hand. She has a hard time opening it, but that’s ok. You don’t want it to open too easily so you don’t lose the little pieces. I saw her throw it on the floor to open it… And let me tell you, it’s Durable!! ..and it opened.

I bought this for my 2 year old to play with on a 6 hour airplane ride. She LOVES it! I will admit that it wasn’t great for the plane specifically because it has a lot of little pieces that were hard to keep track of but we’ve had it for 3 months now and she plays with this every day at home. Obviously, the pieces are small and choking hazards for little ones who are prone to putting things in their mouth but our daughter is pretty responsible about that so I felt comfortable getting it for her even though she is younger than the recommended age. I will definitely be getting her more Polly Pockets in the future.

I don’t have any issues with product other than it coming a little opened. But everything was still there so that’s all I cared about.

Pro tip: these aren’t the Polly Pockets of our childhood. They are more intricate and have more pieces. My kiddos can’t always get the pieces situated correctly inside to get it closed well so it has fallen open before and prices go everywhere. So now I keep labeled ziplocks to make it easier.

Cependant, certains trouveront qu'il peut y avoir un excès d'accessoires, ce qui rend difficile la fermeture de la boîte du coffret. Cela peut être un peu frustrant lorsqu'il est temps de ranger et de transporter le jeu. (1 étoile en moins pour ceci) Malgré cet inconvénient, les enfants apprécieront toujours l'aspect interactif du coffret et la possibilité de créer leurs propres histoires et aventures avec les mini-figurines et les éléments du zoo.

As a 90s kid who still has all her Polly Pockets, and gifted them to her daughter, this set does not disappoint! We both enjoy playing with this one, and have added it to our Polly Pocket village. Very cute little set.
