Fits 2014 Sportage
Fit my 2014 Kia Sportage perfect! I was definitely not about to pay someone over $70 to replace this for me. It was very easy to install and the quality of the filter is good.

2012 Hyundai Elantra approved!
Fit my 2012 Elantra perfectly! I’m not car savvy but I’m trying to maintain some of the easier things myself. This was a breeze to change

INSTRUCTIONS (2012 Hyundai Elantra) - INSTANTLY Increased MPG and Power :D
FIRST: Video was rushed because it was literally 7 degrees outside, sorry about the quality on the video (Amazon greatly reduced the quality upon uploading) and also: Yes, my car is filthy in the video -_- I normally keep it spotless but I had just gotten back from a ski trip and they had just salted the roads. Living in New England is an adventure! I have to clean the inside and outside (including the engine and everything under the hood) just as soon as the temperature is a little bit higher than 7 degrees (F) outside x_x WHAT'S NEEDED FOR INSTALLATION: - New air filter. - SUGGESTION: Bring some water mixed with dish soap and paper towels with you. Your hands will get dirty and that soot will get everywhere if you don't wipe it off quick. - NO TOOLS REQUIRED! INSTRUCTIONS (2012 Hyundai Elantra - most likely also applies to some newer Hyundai Elantras as well) - all steps also shown in video: 1. Pop your hood (small lever right next to the driver's door, just below the steering wheel and all that. Will have a picture of an open hood on it). 2. Reach into the very front of the hood, you'll feel a small metal lever. Pull up on that lever and the hood opens. 3. Prop the hood open with the rod that's going across the left side (snaps in and out of place) - insert it into the appropriate hole in the bottom of the hood and slide it to lock it in place. 4. On the driver's side, next to the engine, you will see a box with about the same length and width as the filter (but much thicker/taller). 5. Pull the metal clamps away from that box (see video) and it simply pops open - no tools required! 6. Remove the old filter and place the new one in in the same direction. 7. Close the lid and replace the metal clamps - make sure that the tabs on the lid (opposite side of the clamps) go back into the holes that they fit in (see video). 8. Clamp the rod holding the hood up back to it's original position and drop the hood to close it. NOTE: You can drop the hood like I do in the video (as all mechanics do - it's designed to be able to handle that) or you can close it gently and then press down hard so it locks. Typically it's safer to drop it AND push it down hard. And then try to open it again (without pulling the hood release lever) just to make absolutely sure it's closed properly. BAM! DONE! The whole process can be done in less than 60 seconds once you know what you're doing - and mechanics can charge you $40-$80 to do this simple task!!! Don't get ripped off! Do this yourself! I hope this video and instructions are helpful :) Now onto the increases in performance (once you replace your dirty filter with this one): So.... apparently I needed this pretty badly! I was getting maybe about 2/3rds the gas mileage and power that I had been used to on my 2012 Hyundai Elantra so I started checking things. Everything looked fine until I got to my engine's air filter... which was absolutely filthy (as you can see in the video)! I was getting around 25-30-ish miles per gallon on the highway doing 55-65 mph before I replaced it. After replacing it: 37-42 miles per gallong doing 55-65 (varied due to wind conditions)!!! THAT'S HUGE! I knew that the air filter could make a difference but I guess I didn't realize just HOW MUCH of a difference it could make. I mean... WOW. It drives like it's brand new again! My car also feels like it has a LOT more power! I mean, I guess it does make since that it would have more power since it's allowing more air into the engine but wow, I didn't know it would make that big of a difference :o It's also worth noting that this air filter is about twice the thickness of the genuine Hyundai ones but the box that fits the air filter appears to be built to handle thicker air filters so it still fits perfectly. And I believe that added thickness will allow more air into the engine (good thing) :D Bottom line: I'm very pleased with this purchase :) Made my car feel brand new again... and next time I'll be smart enough to actually check the engine filter first!

Keep your old gasket on hand
The rupper gasket/seal that comes with it is too big and will keep the filter compartment from closing. I took the gasket off the old one and switched it with this one and it fits fine. This is for the people with 2011 Elantra. Other than that seems ok. Better than paying the mechanic 40 in labor for an install that only involves clips
