March 8 2024First of all, I never leave reviews on products I buy but this one deserves it.I ordered a 20ft roll and got just a little bit more than 20ft.I moved the battery on my car to the trunk to make room in the engine bay and the wire I had was just not cutting it, took a lot of effort to get the started going, installed the SPARTAN 1/0 AWG and problem solved. No issues at all.

Like I said a tad short of 20 feet which is what I ordered. Not a deal breaker as it's just for a welding ground clamp. I will say that compared to the local welding supply price, the cable is a heck of a deal and it shipped promptly and was made in the USA as well. Still need to tin the ends and attach it to my DINSE connector and my ground clamp.

I’ve ordered both 4 gauge and 2 gauge Spartan cable in 15 and 25 ft lengths for welding ground lines and as a positive lead for stick welding. In general, this is very nice cable. Flexible, appears to be true to gauge, and 100% copper.My experience with the 15’ lengths is that they are almost always exactly 15’ …to the 1/4”.Unfortunately, the 25’ length I ordered was almost 5” short and had a full 23” section where the jacket was continuously and deeply scored. Fortunately (?), the damaged jacket was at the very end of the cable but between the short length and the damaged section, I ended up with less than 23’ of cable.

Purchased 20' of this to do a battery in the trunk install. Wire looks to be of good quality. I just wish actual full copper cable wasn't so expensive. But, when moving the battery to the trunk a person needs a GOOD heavy cable for the distance run.

I like that this seller advertised copper, NOT CCA, and I received copper (not CCA). Before even opening you can tell by the weightI ordered from another Amazon seller first (omitted name. Bag was marked LL meaning a return from Amazon so it could have been an Amazon employee) the wire received was shiny aluminum on the cut ends, and like previous buyer I returned unopenedThis wire is marked Royal Excelene -which makes no difference to me, it's copperThe jacket is adequate and in line with what you'd expect for car audio. No visible defects on jacket, length exactly what I ordered. I wouldn't use for welding cable as it says on wire, dragging across floors, for that and ground cables I use Canaweld but that wire is double jacket and not suitable for feeding around doors carpets and firewall.Exactly what I wanted, and exactly what I ordered, with best price on Amazon for 4 ga copper(Application: inverter to front battery, used to charge house battery bank and also carry the current and start vehicle engine using house marine batteries in case of dead engine battery)
