Works great!
Makes the water taste much better than straight from the tap, that tastes like drinking from the metal hose end :-( We've been using Brita for over 20 years & no complaints. As far as filling the pitcher 3 times and dumping out the H2O with new filter I just pour it onto the house plants.

Shipped Old Defective Filters
I was shipped old (2010) shop soiled stock in damaged box. Carbon filter media has excessive fines contamination and this batch does not match original product listing.

Really effective. Been using for years.
Still love our Brita water filter pitcher. In SF Bay Area we have some of the purest water in the country but very old pipes! Day and night...the taste after being filtered. The filters used to last two months. Now the manufacturer says one month. Stick to one month. I wish that Brita would switch to a plastic housing with refills that can be inserted (they apparently have this is in the UK). That would keep a lot of plastic out of the landfill. One good note...Whole Foods has bins for recycling used filters.

Item as described. Would like it to remove Glyphosate and other common poisonous chemicals.
