Q: if somebody walks on it with high heels on, will it dent in?

No problem with heels at all as long as mat is placed on hard surface (hardwoods, tile, concrete,etc) underneath!

Q: Do these slip around when placed on tile?

Our Flats are designed to lie flat on dry, hard surfaces such as tile, wood, concrete, etc. We recommend that the smaller sized Flats be placed up against a baseboard or under a piece of furniture to prevent movement. The larger sized mats are typically heavy enough to stay in place, depending on your surface. Also, after doing some research, we have found that these pads help with restricting movement of our Flats.
