The supplied adhesive pads are surprisingly strong if you wipe down the desk with isopropyl alcohol before applying. I also used the supplied screws which seem to hold to the sheet metal desk ok although they are not really self-tapping screws.

If you need to secure a small safe to prevent theft or unauthorized removal, these are great and inexpensive options. I used longer screws to secure to studs. But they look good and don’t look out of place. Cables fit as needed for the securement you need.
