This drip irrigation kit includes the accessories to build a manifold of drip tape/soaker hose, and to integrate this manifold with Blumat Moisture Sensors/Flow Regulators. (See below for additional parts that may be needed) The Blumat carrots, of lengths 5" and 9" (to ensure all depths of your garden bed are adequately and automatically watered), feed water into the manifold from both ends. They do this ONLY when your plants need it, so you'll never over or under-water again! This kit design features the best technologies from both Blumat watering systems as well as conventional drip irrigation systems, and has the ability to be run off-grid. These kits require no power, no timers, no battery, or electricity, and use minimal resources (including minimal to no water waste) while operating. Automatically water your garden beds and raised beds with minimal maintenance! Double Manifold Design Features Blumat Moisture Sensing Technology The Blumat & BluSoak Double Manifold Kits feature Blumats. These moisture-sensors are self-regulating plant waterers that will never over or under water your plants! They only deliver moisture to the plant root zone as the plant uses it up. They will even automatically turn off in the case of rain or supplemental hand-watering. Each kit includes a 5" blumat and a 9" blumat, ensuring you sense moisture both on the surface as well as deeper down. BluSoak Drip Tape Distribution BluSoak drip tape is the perfect way to make each of your Blumat moisture sensors go further. Instead of emitting directly out of the Blumat, this kit distributes the flow from the output of the Blumat sensor through lengths of drip tape. This evenly distributes the water through your garden or raised bed, ensuring consistent and even watering. Super-Flex Silicone Tubing Super-flex tubing is our highest quality silicone tubing, and endures harsh outdoor environments, temperature swings, and UV rays more than any other 8mm tubing we could find. Additional Products that May Be Required to Run Blumat & BluSoak Drip Irrigation Kit(s) This kit does need to be connected to a water source to work. Any of the above products, in addition to 8mm tubing, will do the job. The bulkheads (in combination with a reservoir) can feed the kits via gravity, while the pump is used if electricity is an option. If a hose bibb or water tap is availalbe, the pressure reducer alone is ideal.

Review: Good product, seller needs to be better - Look, functionality wise it’s hard to beat. Product quality? Very good. But customer support and quality management? Needs serious work. I got this kit, which one would believe would come with all necessary equipment. I was missing multiple fittings(all fittings came in straight up sandwich bags), plus the kit comes with 10ft of the flex tubing…… anyone who has put together a blumat system this size will tell you 10ft of tubing isn’t anywhere close to enough. You need double that for a gravity fed system. Just so happens that the tubing is so dang expensive, so No wonder they short you on it. Just kinda disappointed.

Look, functionality wise it’s hard to beat. Product quality? Very good. But customer support and quality management? Needs serious work. I got this kit, which one would believe would come with all necessary equipment. I was missing multiple fittings(all fittings came in straight up sandwich bags), plus the kit comes with 10ft of the flex tubing…… anyone who has put together a blumat system this size will tell you 10ft of tubing isn’t anywhere close to enough. You need double that for a gravity fed system. Just so happens that the tubing is so dang expensive, so No wonder they short you on it. Just kinda disappointed.
