While I really like this shape and bought already several, this is second unit that arrives deffective/chipped!!!Please stop wasting customers time, we have to faff around with returns. This is easily prevntable!Otherwise I highly recommend this gaiwan model!

It's ok but the lid doesn't sit nicely between the saucer and gaiwan as you'd expect.

Nice gaiwan. I've used it a couple dozen times, it functions correctly. It's perfectly round and doesn't wobble or sit funny. I'm happy with my purchase.

This porcelain Gaiwan keeps heat sufficiently good to use it for red teas. I also like its finish, the inside and outside glaze colour.

While the product itself was in good condition and met the specifications, the dye job was simply substandard. It was inconsistent and a much lighter hue than shown in the photos. I ended up returning it.

Lovely little gaiwan (pay attention to the sizes, folks—if you want a “coffee cup”, order something larger. Traditional coffee cup serving is 6 oz, coffee mug serving is 8 oz or more. This gaiwan holds 4 oz comfortably without spilling or overheating the rim.) Just fits my hand. Pretty jade green colour with white trim.Lid is a little wobbly, and needs to be rotated for the best fit, otherwise very, very nice!Packed well. Arrived safely, no damage.Very good value for the price
