After many years of going through countless Riedel Austrian crystal wine glasses, which have become ridiculously expensive and break so very easily, I decided to try a new glass and a new look. Read the reviews on these glasses and decided to try them, the price was great and to my pleasant surprise, the quality is outstanding! Made in Germany, these are sturdy yet have a sophisticated look, easy to wash and come out sparkling. I love these new wine glasses. These are my new favorites.

Beautiful glasses. I found these after reading a bon appetit recommendation in their wine section of the Bev edition. I coincidentally just broke #3 of 4 of my beautiful CB2 red wine glasses. I think I’m in need of a more durable glass lol. I love how there’s 6 in a set, plenty for your everyday or for hosting. The size is modest but versatile for red or for white.They feel hearty without feeling or looking like the wine glass they have at that wood fired pizza place down the street. They feel elegant and they’re enjoyable to drink out of and to hold. I hand washed them to start just in case they all were to break at once — I’d be devastated!I love the angle in their design, makes them feel modern and consider. Very cool that such a durable choice has this design detail.I did find on the official website for the brand they have detailed instructions on what settings need to be used on the washer from placement to temperature. A little annoying that wasn’t on the box or in the Amazon description. Give it a look before you hit go. Otherwise incredibly happy with this purchase. None of mine arrived broken. They were in a box that was wrapped in bubble wrap and then in another box and they did great. Shipped directly from the brand.

These are large, and excellent wine glasses. Not too large imo. Very nice, excellent acoustics when you cheers or wipe wet finger on rim. Durable in relation to thickness. Surprisingly so.

Wine glasses are a very personal decision. I love these because they’re not huge and they look great and not so heavy. My favorites.They do break and they’re not cheap, but I think they’re well worth it.

I purchased these glasses because I needed a complete set of wine glasses. Very delicate. Hand wash when your sober.

I have had Reidel versatile wine glasses for years and they always break. The upper third of the glass bowl is extremely thin and fragile. I was looking for a glass that was strong enough to use for casual dining but also worked in more formal settings too. Also, u wanted a glass that I could use for white or red. This glass checks all of those boxes. I love it and received many compliments at a dinner party recently w/ friends who are wine professionals. The only minor drawback for me is they are maybe a smidge too tall for my taste. But that’s just me being picky. Great price too. Buy them!

I realize that sounds a bit over-the-top, but these are the best wine glasses I've tried and I've owned a lot of high-end wine glasses over the years. I also realize that any knucklehead can write a review, whether or not they have any idea what they are talking about. I consider this the most exciting discovery I've made in the wine world because it makes every glass of wine I drink a better experience. No this isn't my first foray into a correctly-shaped, decently-made wine glass. We drink wine most nights of the week and, although don't go out of our way to buy the most expensive wine we can find, we typically drink higher end stuff.I *much* prefer these to Riedels, Riedel Extreme, Ravenscroft Amplifier, etc, and it isn't just because they are durable. While these have a very slightly thicker feel to them than the Riedel Extremes and Ravenscroft Amplifiers, the clencher for me is the rim of the glass. What??? Yep! I love the shape of these, but they are cut very similarly to the Extremes and Amplifiers, all giving a very detailed accounting of the wine held within. But what sets them apart (other than being considerable less expensive and more durable) is the way they feel against my mouth. Yes, I hear myself. That makes no sense. So don't try them and never know what I'm referring to... Or... Try them and see for yourself what truly differentiates these glasses from everything else out there.The Burgundy Glasses I bought are large (not the largest) and have a great shape. They swirl the wine wonderfully and give a great nose, but every great Burgundy glass does that. However, the rim of the glass has a softness to it that SIGNIFICANTLY adds to the experience of drinking the wine. These glasses have a rounder, softer lip to them that just makes everything better. The way they contact your lips feels completely different than other glasses. There is a manufacturer's video that explains the process a bit, but I never believe the marketing fluff. This is real and (here comes the cliche) a game-changer for wine glasses. I'm anxious to try some other designs (sizes) from Schott Zwiesel, but in the meantime, we are drinking EVERYTHING (any kind of red and any kind of white) from these Burgundy glasses. All our other glasses have stayed in the cabinet since these came home. 'nuff said!

These are my favorite go-to wine glasses. The size isn’t too large and can work for both white and red wines. The shape of the glass is stunning and a fabulous way to serve your favorite vintage.

Excellent wine glasses

Bought these for use on a live-aboard boat. They look great and are impact resistant. Size is nice as not too tall for cabinets. The bowl of the glass is large enough for the wine to breathe. The crystal is fine enough to make the glass light in the hand and the thin edge has a good mouth-feel.

These wine glasses are the nicest I’ve ever owned. I love the rim and the shape. My dogs tail sent one flying on our tiled patio and it didn’t break. Amazing quality. They feel way more expensive than what I paid for them. So happy with them I bought more.
