Hone stones
I recently got a Warthog V-Sharp knife sharpener, and wanted finer stones. These fit the bill very nicely. The hones I had were medium grit, and a steel. While it worked OK, I wanted finer stones to fill the gap between medium grit, and a hone steel. These fit the bill nicely, as most of my knives only need a touch-up, so the medium stones remove more metal than necessary. Working up to the fine stone, you wind up with what I would call a very sharp working edge. Install the steel hones on the Warthog, and you get a hair shaving edge. Buy a strop and you can get your knives as sharp or sharper than they have ever been.
