Good quality and very easy to use. I just the handle was a little bigger on the small one. a bit tight with gloves on

This lead is great, it feels good to hold, feels sturdy and is a good length.

Is of good quality and feels sturdy. The lead retracts smoothly and the button to lock the lead is nice and large. Mechanism to lock can sometimes appear to jam but this may just be me fumbling around with gloves on. I find it quite heavy and wish the handle had some sort of grip to it as I find my hand slides a lot when wearing gloves, which when my 18kg dog is hanging of the end of it can prove tricky. Overall a great lead and good value for money

Locks easily, has a latch so you can lock it permanently, you don't have to always hold the button in and that's very easy to flick on and off.I have a big adult German Shepherd, we herded a swan into the lake today, it could not figure out how to get over a chicken wire fence. He was pulling hard on the lead but it was confidently holding him by my side and the swan endured minimal stress.It feeds and retracts very nicely/smoothly and it's a really nice way to be able to control but also allow so freedom.I carried it around for an hour (off leash) and I don't feel fatigued, so it's a good weight and a comfortable handle.

Good quality, excellent for small dogs, does its job

This is the third Tug lead I’ve bought in under a year and a half. I should have learnt after the first broke. My dog has almost zero recall and this morning when the lead snapped she ran and ran. Petrified was putting it lightly. Would definitely NOT recommend these products.

**UPDATE: i've raised the stars on my review as, despite, the my purchase being outside of the return window, Tag contacted me and gave immediate refund. No company can avoid the odd product failure but good customer service can make all the difference. Thanks Tag!** Initially I really liked this lead and would have given it four stars. Positives: Handle is compact and ergonomic, tape lead much more manageable than cord, great idea to make tape and handle in high vis colour. Negatives: retracts more slowly than my previous cord lead but this is something just to be aware of rather than a dealbreaker: won't get your dog back in a hurry in an emergency but, at the same time, doesn't give your dog a start snapping back too quickly if there's loose lead. When the lead was mostly extended there were certain points where the lock switch wouldn't full6 depress down which was annoying but holding the button down as much as it would did at hold the lead in position.Anyhow, that would have been my review but, after six weeks of use, it's completely useless. With no warning, half way through a walk the tape lead began sticking, wouldn't retract or extend, and when i did manage to get it moving the button wouldn't work to lock it in place. Luckily i always carry standard lead with me otherwise it would have been very hairy getting my dog home along busy main roads. Of course, it's become unusable when the return window has closed so I now have to fork out for another one. Very disappointed and very annoyed.

Easily held retracts well does a good job

This is my second one (bigger size) since my puppy is growing like a weed.

It had a very comfortable grip, it locks in place with ease and has a good length for my pup to run ahead a bit. The material feels very sturdy and the grip has enough space to fit a bag dispenser comfortably without sacrificing any space.

I was nervous about ordering a leash without seeing it in person because my dog pulls like a mofo, even though she’s only 25 lbs. She also tends to attack the leash from time to time when she doesn’t get her way lol.Pros: this leash comes with a little reinforced extension for dogs who attack the leash. 3 weeks into using the leash, there is no sign of wear and tear from her going ham on the leash. The handle is pretty comfortable, albeit a little heavier than I’m used to. But again, after 3 weeks I am used to it. It locks well, and retracts well.Cons: the metal attachments feel a little jenky or cheaply made, compared to the great quality of the rest of the leash. So far, they have held up to my pup pulling like a horse on walks!I would recommend this leash!

Working on training our kitty to travel with us and wanted to give her more range than just a regular leash. Love that this is small and it works so well! Very smooth, the lock works and let’s go perfectly.
