Remington: An M/M Mafia Romance (The Theriot Family Book 1)

Remington is Pretty Woman on steroids. There's a prostitute, a "businessman" , a "business deal" between the pair for a certain amount of time - 2 weeks in this case, there's a musical instrument involved, businessman takes prostitute shopping, they fall madly in love etc, etc. While I did like the book and I loved Henri (who was an absolute doll), I hated Remington - he made me feel icky as sometimes "consent" was rather questionable. Tony the monkey is adorable and hopefully he and Lancelot get a book at some point in time!!

This is the second spin-off series from the Marchesi and is just as good. This series is set in New Orleans and follows the Theriot family who like the Marchesi are mafia.This one follows Remington - Remy who is taking over from his father as head of the Family and Henri a prostitute whom Remy picks up after witnessing the murder of a rival. Things then go downhill and uphill from there but they do get their HEA in the end. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Worth a read my first read of mafia book and I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t too dark which was good for me. The story was really well written and kept me intrigued from start to finish. There was plenty of steam which is a great plus for me. I’m on to book 2 x

I really enjoyed this book. Henri was such a sad sweetheart and I’m glad he got his hea with his alpha.

Loved that the Theriot Family got their own series. I loved absolutely loved Remy and Herni’s story I love e bad boy Mafia love and can’t wait for the continued adventure! Ms Violet is definitely becoming one of my favourite go to authors

Excellent story with some very steamy scenes . Henri and Remy are great and the plot was well written. Highly recommended series

When I first started reading this book I thought it was going to be the same as the Marchesi family books and though it had similar characters it is definitely one I’ll be following
