This is a great light and magnifier. The on/off switch is a little awkward but I can deal with it. I like that it doesn’t take up much space but is bright.

Worth it! Yes, it is easy to use. It is made to use ON A TABLE TOP. This Magnifying glass (and Light) comes in 2 colors and I got the white one for my Art Studio and then I got the black one for my husband since he needed one in his Shop. He needed one for when he has to make detailed "cuts" or when he has to look at fine details while doing metal-shop type of things. Anyhow, I basically got this for making jewelry and for fixing up my dolls, during doll restoration since sometimes I have to re-paint my dolls' faces with fine brushes and acrylic paints. I really needed a Mag-Glass like this one , with a light too, and this one offered both. Also the base is heavy so that it will not tip over while you are using it on a table. I bought it on sale on Amazon and it arrived quickly and in wonderful packaging. No problems

Works great but it is important to have a good place to mount it and have able to swing in and out of the way.

I am really surprised at the base that comes with this light. Nice and heavy so that I don't have to use the clamp on base, I have not tried to fully extend the arm but with the base I am able to move it nearer the work and not have to extend like I would from the edge of the table. I wish the light was a little brighter (it is not as bright as a fluorescent) but it is bright enough.

It is exactly what I wanted. Great size, quality. Good desk lamp and also can be a clip on light for my art easel if I want a magnifier light for close up work. Wonderful. I hope it lasts forever as it was not easy to find.

I've had 2-3 of these, and like them a lot except they usually fail after some months of use. I thought it was due to the LEDs or electronics, but just now discovered the problem. The power seems too high for the USB-A power connection. When this recent one started to fail (doesn't start, flickers, or lights only very dimly), I noticed that the contacts on both mating power connectors were charred. I found another old 5V wall wart switching supply, cut the USB connector off the lamp, and soldered the wires directly to the replacement supply. A 2.5mm barrel connector would also be appropriate. Now this lamp works fine again. I think this is a design issue. A USB connector should not be used for power with this much steady current, at least unless there's a very snug connection.

Base needs to be a little heavier. When you extend it out, it wants to tip over. I just put something on top of base to keep from tilting over...Other than that, love it...

Had to order and return it twice, because both came defective

Pensé que el aumento de la Lupa sería poco pero me equivoqué las cosas se ven geniales y la Lupa y el brazo se sienten de gran calidad. El único pero que le pongo es que la base para escritorio no es muy estable y que la última articulación hubiera quedado genial si fuera una rótula. Fuera de eso la recomiendo mucho. Fue una excelente compra.
