Dead rats in 48 hrs. This poison is not an anticoagulant, so low risk for secondary poisoning.
Anticoagulant rodenticides are dangerous for secondary poisoning. I chose this one because it has lower risk. I put up a bird feeder in June and suddenly some rats moved under my patio stoop. They were driving my dogs crazy, active pretty much all day (on and off). One dog got scratched on her eye when she cornered a rat she chased, so I needed to find a quick solution. I put this out near the entrance under my concrete stoop on Saturday night and less than 48 hrs later, 2 Norway rats dead in the yard. I put a mask on and gloves, grabbed it with old tongs and placed in a bucket with bleach, then after a few minutes I double bagged it and dump in the garbage bin. The next morning, another rat was dead in the yard. Luckily garbage pick up was the next morning. I like the bait station window because I was able to see the rats eating the bait. I haven't replaced the bait yet as there's still 1/2 of one left. I'm grossed out by rats and seeing poop on my patio, I sprayed everything with bleach as these can carry diseases.

Good choice
A good unit but a bit complicated to open, I guess to make it childproof. Slugs love the bait and make a mess, so put it in a dry place.

A great way to combat rat and mice problems! I have had great results within two days!
This purchase comes with the station and the bait to attract the rodents into the station to eat the bait then they leave the station looking for water and will die. There is NO cleaning of deceased rodents inside the bait station. On the bait station there is a window on the side of the station so that you can monitor the bait in the station without touching the station and the bait! The bait has a pre drilled hole so that the bait will fit on the pins and keep them high enough to prevent rain water or snow from dissolving the bait. This station can be placed flat or sideways for those tough limited space areas. The bait station attracts the rats and mice into the station but the hole is too small for squirrels and children hands keeping everyone safe. The color of the bait station is black and is very low profiled to conceal the station from others seeing it. There is bait provided with this purchase. Within two days I had results with just two stations and found five deceased rats near my back yard pond . Tomcat rat and mouse killer will not let you down and your issues will be gone. After the remediation of getting the rats and mice under control keep the station properly filled year round to prevent other rodents from getting in your house/barn or garage. Very pleased with this purchase!

This stuff does the job I promise you
Okay so this is the lowdown of the whole deal. My grandkids come to visit me and of course bring their friends and they're in the bedroom eating and drinking and they're laying stuff everywhere and the food gets on the floor or they know they drinks over and here come the mice.so we had to have a little pow wow about that. About them leaving food out it was not a good thing so I had to buy mice poison and the first one I got didn't do any good I mean you might as well been feeding them candy. So I did my homework and I studied up on what was good and what wasn't good so this stuff it's strong it's not messy you don't have to worry about if it works or not because within an hour after these things eat this stuff they're dead. No if hands are both about it. They're small in size . But they are made with a chemical that will end your problem. You don't want to touch it with your hands. you want to get something to pick it up with , for instance gloves .Their little green squares and it comes with a box of for the bait so when you place these little squares of poison down in this bait trap which I think it holds two of them they say one block will kill 10 mice or one block will kill three rats. And you got a little window on the top of that thing that you can check them when the when the blocks are gone and the mice are ass eat them then you will see the appearance on top of that bait trap because you don't have to pick it up. And it's not unattractive I mean you can set them under a dresser in your bedroom or you can set them beside your refrigerator and it's big enough that the rats can go in and out. I bought one of that was for mice but they didn't want to go in there but they go in there when I bought them big enough for the rats.I learned these rats and mice are educated they know sometimes they just are too smart. I can figure you out sometimes but when they get hungry enough and you put your food up and you don't leave stuff out and you clean your counters off and you clean everything up then you're going to get good results. And that box is easy to assemble so that way you can just pop you two of those poison blocks in there and snap it shut and that's all you need and it don't take no time for you to get those pest killed . I think it's a good speed then within the hour after they eat them that they're dead you don't have to worry about it no more just every once in awhile you might have a few stragglers come in but just keep buying it because it's really worth the money.

HORRIBLE DISASTER! MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE WATER SOURCE
The theory of this product is the poison makes the rat really thirsty and so it will go out somewhere to find water and then die. In my case this was a huge disaster. I placed trap in my crawl space and the Rat ate the poison but then decided to chew through and completely shred four different PEX tubing water lines before it died. Home Owners insurance had Pex tubing sent to lab and investigated and said it was a rat that damaged the tubing - but I already found the Norway rat that eventually died. So...this poison does work but I would suggest that you provide a water source that is easy for them to find along with using the trap, especially if you are putting it anywhere in a crawl space.I have talked to plumbers and Exterminators and they recommended the Water Source too. Wish I knew this ahead of time! Thousands of dollars of damage and of course insurance does not cover rodent damage or the mold that grew on my subfloor, removal of insulation and putting back new insulation, tearing out toilet and entire kitchen island and putting back kitchen island. None of it is covered only tearing out my hardwood and putting back in my hardwood is covered by insurance. I only noticed the leak because the hardwood floor had pushed up in one area of the kitchen. When we got under the house we discovered 3 more leaks in totally different areas. The tubing was completely punched through with holes or one areas were shredded. Two different plumbers have told me that they have seen rats punch holes through copper pipes also. They can hear and follow the sound of running water so if they are desperately thirsty they will chew through your pipes. I did not have any of these leaks and have lived here for almost eight years in a new home until I used the Trap. We had seen one rat run under the house through a very small opening that we didn't realize was there on the lid of the crawl space and so we placed the Trap. We had not had any water problems ever before this. The rat could have come back out the same way he went into the house and looked for water when he was thirsty after eating the bait but he decided to chew through pipes instead. Hopefully this helps someone else avoid all of this headache.
