Great for full size pickups, Works well with iPhone X, Highly recommended
I have 17 F250 King Ranch, and have struggled to find the right car mount for my phone. On my Ram, I had a flat area to place a holder, but the angles across the dash on this truck do not provide an easy location other than the windshield. Unfortunately the windshield is a good distance from the drivers seat, leading to more frustration when other car mounts have forced me to have to reach forward to make changes to my navigation or other phone features. This car mount has solved all of those problems. I have it hanging from near the top of the windshield next to my rear view mirror and it places the phone right next to my steering wheel and gear stalk. It holds my iPhone X perfectly to where it immediately unlocks using facial recognition when I set it on the mount. It has made my life immensely easier and greatly reduced the number of distractions and amount of time lost that I previously faced when making phone related adjustments.I highly recommend this mount for anyone who has large distances between themselves and the windshield/console. I am very happy with my EXSHOW car mount.Update:A year later, I'm buying a second one for my wife's GL450. Out of the three different car mounts we purchased. This remains the best. One, never got any use due to bad design, and the second has become junk as well as a safety hazard (phone slips/falls out sometimes). No issues with adhesion on my F250 after a year, and I haven't had to use the little adapter, it's just hanging from the windshield. Stable even on gravel roads. I reiterate my five star rating.

Great product for handsfree driving - not for hot climates though
I highly recommend this product for safe driving. It stays well on the windshield unless you live in a very hot climate. If you live in a hot climate, I would look it for another product because it melts onto the windshield. But if you don't live in a southern state, I'd highly recommend this as it works very well and stays on and is very durable

4 Stars for iPhone 6-Plus Sized Phones, 5 Stars for Everyone Else
I ordered this thinking I needed a longer one that I actually did, so it's a little long for my purposes. That being the disclaimer, I would say it's a great product if you do need a long and sturdy one, this will suit your needs. I haven't tried it on one, but I would think it's perfect for a big dashboard like a truck or large SUV. I use it in a Volkswagen Passat which makes just a tad long for my needs. Yet you can flex and bend it to make it more of a serpentine set up and it works perfect. As for the construction, it has a strong suction that will lock with a clicking lock and has a little piece you can use as a fulcrum to distribute the weight. The closer you put it to the phone, the more sturdier it will be. My advice on the setup would be to do a "dry run" and flex it to the point where the suction is flat on the windshield and the phone is right in front of a flat service to put the little fulcrum piece. I have an iPhone 6 Plus in an otter box case, and if you can figure out the weight distribution when you set it up, there is minimal shaking while going down the road. As far as the cradle, it's good and solid, and the bigger phones will fit good in it. It will tighten around the and hold in place. There's a little button in the back that will do a quick release.Pros- Long enough for large dashboards, great sturdy construction, easy to use, doesn't get in the way of a charging cord, great suction on the windshield.Cons- the only reason why I would not give it a fifth star is because of the size of the phone cradle. If you have a larger phone like the iPhone 6 Plus like I mentioned I have, and the additinional weight and bulk of an otter box case, it might be a little "top-heavy" while in the stand. That being said, I wish it was about a half-inch taller and it would be perfect for even the biggest phones. With that in mind, if you have regular sized phones you should be more than satisfied with this product.

Excellent. Exactly what I was looking for, with only one minor drawback.
4.8 Stars. I bought this to replace the on I had been using, only it had a spring-loaded side clamp vs this one has ratchet (click, click, click) as it goes from wide to holding your phone nice and snug.Pros:-The arm is a perfect length (most of the ones I saw out there are way to short). This one brings it just over my dashboard, so I can easily reach it if I need to thumbs up or down a road hazard on Waze.-VERY strong suction to the windshield (I almost didn't need to clamp down, because it wasn't moving with just pushing it on).-Great build-quality: from the suction cup to the arm, but most notably It's side clamp has a great feel to it when clicking it to hold your phone in.-Very secure hold on your phoneCons:-The only con for me was, since I'm used to a spring-loaded side clamp, which allows for quick and easy grabbing and taking the phone right out, this ratchet clamp system makes that a little harder, as I think it's designed so you click the button on the bottom rear to release it, which I guess I could do, but that's more work and slower, especially since the side-clamps seem to be friction/gear resistant, (that high-quality feel I mentioned above). My solution is to leave it one-click less tight, which allows me the ability to grab the phone and holster with one hand and push the phone to one side, while pulling the looser side forward, and it just pops right out. This works, and does not cause the phone to fall out at all, since there is a bottom piece that holds it in. Alternatively, you could also just slide it straight up. So you really have 3 options.Other than that, this thing is excellent, and I did not end up needing that extra support piece, since I put the suction cup really low, and the arm just rests directly on my dashboard. I wanted it as low as possible so neither the phone nor the suction cup or arm were blocking my view of the road.
