Teknor Apex 4002-25 Zero-G Hose - 25' x 5/8"

This is the best hose available in my opinion for the RV/Marine application.After trying several other types of hose for my RV, I finally found a GREAT product. This hose is designed to withstand tough use - outer jacket protects the inner hose from most sharp objects and rough surfaces, metal connections that are aluminum and durable. Kink resistant and drinking water safe.I purchased the 25 foot hose and wish I would have gotten the 50 foot. That's not a deal breaker but you really should get the longer hose because you just never know when you might be just a little too far from a spigot. Do not buy the cheap collapsible hoses you see at discount retailers - I tried those and they fail under higher pressure, and connections are plastic which do not hold up.Get one of these Zero-G hoses,,,or get two. But get one if you have an RV. Well worth the money.

This is an absolutely awesome product! I held off on reviewing it until I had a chance to actually use it and it did not disappoint. I had read several reviews about a "hose" taste so I did run some fresh water through it before hooking it up to my RV to flush it out. There was no perceptible taste to the water in my opinion. The best part of this hose is the ease of use and storage. No more fighting to get a hose coiled up and stored. I kept one of my older hoses to use as an extension and backup but I will be ordering another one of these for that purpose and totally getting rid of those hard to manage hoses.

This hose is a pure joy compared to other rv hoses I have used. It basically wads up into a small ball for easy storage but seems to be very well built. The end connections are very high quality. We just did a month in our fifth wheel in an rv park in Colorado with an elevation of 8000 feet. We had some very chilly mornings in the 30's, including the morning we left. This hose did not mind at all and still coiled into its small container with no problems. My previous hoses would never do that.

The Teknor Apex 4002-25 Zero-G Hose - 25' x 5/8" seems to be very well built. I have only used it once so far and the quality seems to be very good. I purchased 2 Teknor Apex 4002-25 Zero-G Hoses for our travel trailer to save space and weight. Traditional white RV hoses are always hard to roll up with out kinks, with no such problem with the Teknor Apex 4002-25 Zero-G Hose.Well, we've had these two neat hoses for 6 months now and used them on a couple camping trips and I have used them for general purpose thing around the house (to run some water through them). The only problem is when we use them with our travel trailer we still get a very strong hose taste. Far worse than we have ever got with the traditional white RV hoses. I have posted a question on the Amazon forum for input from ours how have these hoses for their experiences. I also wrote to Teknor for their advice, so far no response! If you are considering these hoses for your RV, be careful!!Update 9-12-17: We send the original 2 Zero-G hoes back to Teknor (Vinyl taste) They sent us 2 brand new ones and the same results-bad vinyl tasting water. So they will be relagated to "garden hose" status and we will return to our STIFF, HARD, BIG WAD OF WHITE RV hoses! RVers beware!

Excellent utility for RV use but the long term durability is a toss up due to the metal on the hose ends, which is of poor quality and the finish wears/rusts off very easily. If I get a season out of the hose, I will be happy, and really, in the RV world, water hoses *should* be considered consumables and replaced annually anyway.

Makes it a lot easier to roll up and stow the water hoses for my RV. I have 3 one of the hoses was left out in about 28 degree weather the water froze but the hose stayed pretty flexible with some ice inside. No damage to the hose.

Seems like a really nice hose. It's lightweight and winds up easily. We used it while traveling. Our only concern is using it for long periods of time and having it exposed to the sun so decided to use a conventional hose instead for longer stays but will definitely use this one for travel.

Very convenient to fold up into a fraction of the size and space that a traditional hose would roll up into. The smaller storing size is important to us for camping. Quality seems very impressive, time will tell if it is durable and worth the $40 we paid
