2020 Apple MacBook Pro with Apple M1 Chip (13-inch, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) (QWERTY English) Space Grey (Renewed)

Bought as an upgrade from my 2017 MacBook Air and what a difference! It’s fast, the display is crystal clear and the long battery life is a real plus. I really like the touch bar which you can customise from the settings menu. The keyboard is backlit and very smooth. I bought this as a "renewed" item and have to say it’s as good as new. The battery charges to 100% and there’s not a single mark on it, even came with the original Apple box, charger and paperwork. All this and a huge saving on the price of a new one. All in all this is is very powerful, slick laptop and I would advise anyone to check out the "renewed" ones before buying new!

What came in the box? A USB-C 67W power adapter with a UK plug & India plug, alongside a 240W power super-fast data sync & charging cable, and the laptop itself. How does this machine perform? It had no power to begin with. The majority of stuff was already setup whilst I updated the rest. It came with 91% maximum battery capacity. I did a live stream test using the software OBS Studio, my capture device Elgato HD60 S+, and Nintendo Switch 2. Although not as powerful like my M4 MacBook Pro 14-inch base model, it ran smoothly without any issues, knowing it's my new secondary laptop to replace my Mid-2015 MacBook Pro Retina Display with 16GB RAM. I then edited the footage using the software CapCut. Reasonable rendering for a 2.5 hour video. Didn't hear the fan at all. When running multiple heavy tasks, the performance can dip now and again, before returning to normal once one of the big processes is complete. A useful accessory I have with the lack of ports is the Anker PowerExpand+ 7-in-1 USB-C Hub. Overall, great product for what it can achieve and great value.

Reluctant to spend alot of money on a brand new MacBook, I was recommended to look at ‘renewed MacBooks.’ After reading reviews on the various sellers in Amazon, I went ahead and bought one on a 10 month interest free finance deal. Anxiously opened the box (whilst filming it in case of damage that I couldn’t prove), I was pleasantly surprised. The MacBook itself looks brand new and there are no physical signs of damage. It turned on no problem and so far is performing as it should. The only thing I would say is I am not convinced the brand new charger and cable is Apple genuine, but I don’t have an actual Apple MacBook Pro charger to compare it to. I would definitely recommend this seller and really glad I have a pretty much brand new MacBook.

I was pretty nervous about buying a refurbished Mac that I’d not seen in person, but it came and it felt almost brand new. It had no obvious marks or dents on the body, and it runs so well and fast. The only issue is that the charging cable that came with, wasn’t a UK plug, but a European with a UK adapter. This doesn’t actually charge the Mac and will just power it, so I will have to purchase a compatible AC charger

Was skeptical about buying this, but exceeded my expectations by a lot. The product looks brand new, a spotless screen, 94% battery life, everything functioning as new. So glad I went for it!

This laptop has major outside damages and scratches yet it’s written excellent condition , I am returning it immediately , greatly disappointed

Une machine vraiment de qualité avec une puissance exceptionnelle et avec la nouvelle puce apple silicon, la batterie peut tenir toute une journée sur des applications classiques. Pour une machine de 2021, ça fonctionne parfaitement pour la plupart des applications gourmandes en ressources système. Quand à la touch bar critiquée par beaucoup je trouve le concept sympa, c’est une sorte d’écran oled tactile. Pour un besoin classique ou même avancé, je le conseille sans problème.
