Q: Can i fit new cartridge in existing body

Didn't try it but guess if compatible you should be able to.

Q: which one is hot and cold? I have bought, not received yet

The one at right angles to the unit is temperature and the little red switch allows you to set the temp over 40 degrees and if you don't flick that switch, it is locked out from going above 40.... the other dial on the front is flow volume only.... I mounted one of these sideways and it still regulates temp fine

Hello, The measurement from centre to centre on the inlets is approx 45mm (4.5cm) and therefore if your current installation has 10cm centres you will need to source additional parts to convert and fit this item. Hope this helps.

Q: Can this mixer be used replacing, without re-tiling the shower, a power shower (just pump, no heating) that is not needed any longer? Thanks

I don’t know, used it to replace a unit in a static caravan shower which was a straight swap.
