Boye Crochet HK Set Size G-K

I crochet A LOT, and a hook that is misaligned even slightly can throw off every stitch enough to slow up a project considerably. Other cheap ones are sized wrong. I have relied on Boye hooks for decades.

The hooks do not have their sizes printed on them, which is confusing. Otherwise, they are fine.

Nice assortment of sizes, reasonably priced. I work with mostly 4 weight worsted yarn ( Red Heart) and a good range of sizes for the projects I make

These crochet hooks are garbage. I didn’t even get through one granny square with the 5.0mm hook before it broke in half in my hand. I was using normal worsted weight acrylic yarn. One of the other smaller hooks also broke in half but after a little longer period.

The plastic coating sticks to the yarn and makes crocheting difficult. Luckily I bought a different one as well so I can crochet without struggling.

Hook is sized correctly and is very pretty. But it seems very short and is very lightweight. I did try using it, and while you can crochet with it, I was concerned the while time that the hook was going to break.

Están muy lindos aunque siento que hay que utilizarlos con cuidado para no romperlos.

Están muy bellos pero muy frágiles, se sienten muy endebles, definitivamente se van a romper al usarlos durante varias horas, no le veo el caso de usarlos solo por unos minutos, vistosos,llamativos pero frágiles.
