This story is worthy of being a MOVIE! Mr. Fleming rises from the awful pit of solitary hell all those years to become a redeemed man. He earns back true respect from those he once hurt and from those who meant him harm. Then he teaches and gives back his experience and wisdom to those in prison who would listen. Tom Fleming was a VERY BAD convict once. I believe he has become a redeemed man exactly as written because I knew him when we were so very young. He always spoke from the heart back then. He had a great forgiving, loving nature about him as a young man. Addictions and Drugs in youth are so hard to overcome! He fell pretty hard back then and spiraled down into the prison system. I believe Tom speaks once again from his "true heart" in his book of memoirs. Thomas Lee Fleming has an incredible story to tell here. I believe every word is true as Tom never once told an untruth to me. It was hard to read the sufferings, It was UPLIFTING to read the Redemption! Thomas Fleming sincerely changed from the inside out. Forgiveness was always in his true nature. I believe that is why he ultimately found some way out of his dark prison. Thomas Lee Fleming, a man who now gives FORGIVNESS as devoutly as he asks for FORGIVNESS. That is how I see him. A Good and Caring man who just WANTS TO GIVE BACK that others may choose a positive path over ones resulting in negative ripples affecting their life. Thank you Tom. You survived 13 years in solitary confinement and kept your true heart alive. What man could do such a thing and stay sane? You did. I don't understand how? I have been profoundly changed by reading your story of addiction, violence, prison and finally your REDEMPTION. Just so Incredible!

I may be bias, a friend wrote this. Great insight to a world must of us will never see. Will never know. Definitely something people need to read and learn.

The media could not be loaded.  This book was absolutely amazing and eye opening. I will never judge a book by its cover again (metaphorically speaking) This story tells of how your choices will effect yourself and others long after the decision is made. It also goes into detail on how one man was able to rise above his belief system and change dramatically, in positive ways. It left me smiling and in tears. Seriously read this book. You will NOT be disappointed!

Let me start by saying reading has always been my least favorite hobby, but when I started this book I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! It will teach you to not only not judge a book by its cover, but also that people CAN change! Once known as the prisons most violent inmate, now known for his courageous decision to completely change his life style and belief system! I’m truly honored to know Tom, and I am so incredibly proud of him for overcoming something some deemed impossible!

The book was well written. This book was recommended to me by a friend of mine who knows the author. I ordered the book right away, received it within a couple of days and finished it quickly. It was interesting and is now being read by my older children.

A closer look at the real-life experience of a former inmate as he examines the effects his past behaviors has had on the people around him. When you ask God to help you, miracles happen!
