Great little lantern. Super bright and the USB charging port is a great idea. I love the color as well. Easy to use and lightweight for its size.

Having the lighting options is great and the USB charging capability is a Welcome extra added protection. Have these in my personal home and corporate houses.

This is a well made lamp that seems to do what it advertises. There are three levels of brightness and the most bright will light a large room. It also charges a cell phone. My phone was down to 79% and it recharged it in 1 hr. Online discussions suggest a typical cellphone requires 15watt hours to charge. This lamp requires 6 D batteries which gives you about 200 watt hours. So I think this lamp can give serious illumination and charge the phone at the same time. I’ll have to do some tests to really be confident in it but that’s an awesome thing to have in an emergency. And people are right that it’s a pain to replace the batteries. They didn’t make it easy to fit the bottom piece back on and then close it. They need to redesign that part. But patience and practice will make it work. Don’t force it.

Liked mine so much I ordered one for my sister too. Great illumunation, a USB charging port, and a carrying handle. Lightweight until you add the batteries and it still isn't bad. I was visiting my sister when a storm caused a 3 day loss of electricity. After watching her run around for flashlights and candles I ordered the lantern. She'll be ready if there is a next time. Great purchase at great value.

We just received this lantern today and are already in love with it! I saw this in Costco the other day, so decided to see what Amazon offered; theirs was 650 lumens and it was $2 more. We have rabbits and chickens and this is perfect for what we need to be able able to see in the barn at night. We tested it and the brightness is remarkable. It's a simple, yet durable design that is pretty lightweight despite the (6) D size batteries that it uses. The USB port is an added bonus that we really like, so we'll be ordering a couple more for the house to have during power outages.Update 12/27/20: We've been using this durable lantern everyday for a month now and it's worth every penny! We love that it has 3 light settings to choose from, with the brightest being absolutely too bright to look at, but it sure lights up the room. We'll definitely be buying more for us and for gifts.
