it's not brushed steel which I would of preferred but it's not high gloss either, and sooo much better price than the store and fits great.

Fit perfectly over the bare PVC tube in our shower. Was able to put https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B3QMDQW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1under it to catch hair. Easy to pop off this cover and clean out the hair catcher. Much better than the mesh and the little stainless steel strainer that we tried before. This combo does not turn our shower into a tub by the end of every shower. Looks better too

FITS AND WORKS GREAT
Our shower drain is just a black pipe sticking up making an open hole in the pan. We couldn't figure out how to keep a drain cover over the drain. The prongs in this cover plus a thick layer of white goop has securely fixed the issue and our shower drain now looks good and not scary.

Looks fine.
This is the only drain cover I can find to fit a 2-inch pipe. I wish it was concave & dipped inward, instead of the opposite. Looks fine.
