Good affordable brush.
Good, soild brush. It has stainless steel bristles, and thet are molded into the plastic for a secure fit. I use this as a BBQ grate cleaning brush. Works great. After about 4 yrs it will loosen up, and will need to be replaced. Overall it's a great brush, highly recommend!

It really works well to remove moss from concrete.
It scrubs moss off concrete, at least I do when I use it. I followed a fellow customer's suggestion of applying hot melt glue to the base of the wires--it was easy to do and my brush continues to look new, with no wire bristles damaged in use. Reasonably priced. I used a handle I removed from a broom or a mop, it works well. The size is good, if it were larger it would be harder to apply sufficient pressure to remove moss. Recommended!

Much better than pressure washer for moss on aggregate
This Red Devil wire brush removal moss from our aggregate driveway 8-12 times as fast as the pressure washer. Brushing is more labor intensive than the pressure washer, but not 8 times more. Also, the pressure washer on aggregate tends to throw bits of wet muck a long way. If there is anything within 10 feet, plan on extra cleanup with the pressure washer. I also tested the "Aquatix Pro Heavy Duty Pool Brush", but its wire bristles were too soft to remove moss from aggregate. While it is better than everything else I tested, I took off a point because the Red Devil wire brush lost bristles until I used a heat-gun and hot-melt glue to secure the bristles. Pro: - Removed moss from aggregate 8-12 times as fast as the pressure washer. - Much more uniform moss removal. The pressure washer tends to leave streaks like someone was scribbling on the driveway. - Doesn't throw muck like the pressure washer. Con: - Bristles were too close together and tended to clog up. - Bristles were softer than the stuff wire hand brushes I use when removing rust. My stiff wire brush works really well, but requires being on hands and knees. - Bristles fell out until I secured them with hot-melt. To secure the bristles: 1. Turn the Red Devil wire brush so the bristles are up. 2. Use a heat-gun to warm up a section of the brush and bristles. 3. Use a hot-melt glue gun to put a puddle of glue where the bristles attach to the base. 4. Work the hot-melt glue around the bristles using a stick and keep the glue flowing with the heat gun. 5. Repeat a section at a time. Just spend a few minutes. The bristles that are easiest to access are also the ones at most risk of falling out, so don't worry about the ones that are hard to work on.

Good Enough!
The Red Devil 4162 Soft Grip Stainless Steel Wire Brush, 10", Steel is getting my job done. Iโve only done half but itโs held up better than I anticipated. Iโm pretty sure this is the first time the track been this clean and shiny since it was first installed nigh 50 years ago. I do wish the cover were easier to put back on and a way to be secured but then it would be more expensive so... Anyway, I can put my eye out with a pillow so this thing might be a little dangerous for me. (Sorry not sorry heโs a photobomber ๐)

Good quality
Used to prepare wood deck for resealing after a long lapse. Takes some effort but it works. Use with threaded broom handle. Better than getting down on hands and knees with sandpaper.

Excellent quality and works great! Very happy and will buy again.
This is a very well designed and constructed wire brush product. I've been using it as both a hand brush and with a broom handle. It's holding up extremely well. The stainless bristles are very durable, with the correct density of bristles and they are held into the brush extremely well. The plastic brush head is very durable and high quality. I've been working it hard and it's performing better and holding up better than others I've used. This is a "go to" for me now.

great for brushing dirt off logs before cutting, can leave it outside while I'm cutting
Bought this to brush sand and gravel off a bunch of filthy gritty sandy firewood logs. With our new weather paradigm the firewood log supply is a whole lot dirtier than "back in the day". I hand sharpen my chains on sight and the cleaner the log the less time I need to spend sharpening. A dull saw is a dangerous saw, an abused saw and a waste of time and energy! Plus chains dont last forever in regard to sharpening wear and tear and they have gone up quite a bit in price. I leave the brush outside by my log pile without worry for rust and rotting. It also has threaded holes for a handle which I imagine would be handy for some other applications!

half ok
The 7" is a good brush but the hole is for a small broom stick thread not a standard large broomstick thread. Also the angle of the handle to brush is not steep enough to be able to push the brush, only draw it towards you. Removing loose paint on a house. But it does a good job on the draw stroke if you put pressure on it. May try to make a modified angled handle for it to be able to go back and forth on the wood. The angle it is makes the brush dig in and stop on the forward stroke. Or just use it with no handle if you can reach the wood. You really would need two or more of these fixed the way you want them if you were painting a house by yourself.

Works well for removing loose and flaking paint. The scraper on the end is a nice touch but not as effective as a dedicated tool. Handle not uncomfortable for me.

Great for using on concrete and very hard abrasive surfaces
