GoPro Helmet Front + Side Mount (GoPro OFFICIAL MOUNT)

I like to film my motorcycle rides. My helmet is a modular one, which means it has a flip-up chin bar. The chin bar has a rather angled center, making a chin mount impossible. So I went with a side mount. The first time I used this, I was riding toward a ranger station on the Blue Ridge Parkway where I had to stop. Luckily I was going slow enough that I was able to catch my GoPro as it fell off the side of my helmet. The supplied 3M adhesive simply was not strong enough to hold it with the weight of both the mount and the GoPro leveraged against it. I didn't have a high level of trust when I first mounted it, and it proved me right. The mount is very adjustable and user friendly, but if you use this, PLEASE get yourself a more solid adhesive to hold it to the helmet. I use Sugru myself, which is available here on Amazon. That stuff is like putty and easily malleable to the shape of the mount, and once it dries, it is rock solid and there's no worry about the mount falling off. Highly recommend this mount.

Works great fir motor sports

I know these say for helmet but I liked that swivel mount so I figured I'd try it on my Silverado's dash. The mount is much more curved than the dash so the middle portion doesn't adhere. That being said, that corners that did adhere are sticking super strong. The quality of the mount is also phenomenal. Sturdy pieces and the held my Hero 7 in place without budging for 40 miles of rough forest roads from Mount Rainier to I-90

I first stuck the mount to the side of my road bike helmet. The weight of the camera was such that my helmet cocked. I could not keep it straight. I then mounted it on the top of my helmet and that worked well. I have a vented helmet and the pads for the mount will not make 100% contact with it. If I had it to do over I would but the strap mount for vented helmets.

I've got this mount attached to my autocross helmet and it works great along with my Hero 11 to capture where I'm looking and also the interior of the car so I can see what inputs I'm making, etc. I used to always mount my camera onto the car itself, but I'm really liking the perspective this mount gives me by having it see almost what I'm seeing.

The ease of installation was excellent, let alone the sleek design that gives you more versatility with your mounting points. Great value for your money and I'm happy with my purchase!

I purchased this for my nephew, along with the GoPro, and the harness accessory kit. The helmet mounts are heavy duty and work perfectly. My nephew uses this all the time.

Tenía mis dudas sobre la seguridad y robustez de los soportes para cascos para GoPro, y con mucho miedo compré el original de la marca. Nadie quiere perder un cacharrito tan caro por fiarse de una simple pegatina, y por eso decidí pagar más por este accesorio. Y me alegro de haberlo hecho, porque este soporte es robusto y las fijaciones adhesivas son muy buenas. He probado a colocar la cámara en dos de los lugares con más vibración de una moto, como son el basculante trasero y el guardabarros delantero, y la cámara se ha mantenido en su sitio sin problemas durante cientos de kilómetros, en varias rutas largas y por carreteras secundarias llenas de baches. Además, la zapata con rótula de bola, que parecía un gran punto débil del sistema, es dura de verdad. Recién comprada, y tras varias rutas en moto de lo más exigentes, no ha perdido firmeza y se mantiene en la posición en que la has colocado (cuesta girar la bola para elegir la posición que se quiera). Y, tras revisar este acople, he comprobado con alegría que, aunque pueda coger holgura con el uso, dispone de unos tornillos para apretarla más, de forma que parece que este soporte tendrá bastante vida si lo cuido. No sé cómo serán los de otros fabricantes, pero he de decir que comprar este ha sido un acierto. Lo recomiendo.

Excellent mount. I've found some of my no-name branded action camera parts are not snug and wiggle in the mount. You can imagine how this would effect video quality. This however fits very tight and is robust. No issues here!
