I was so excited to order this water bottle. I did a lot of research and I have four Contigo coffee mugs so I thought this would be perfect. Sadly it is not. I was looking for a pop open lid with an opening about the size of a water bottle. I don’t like drinking water from a straw or a squirty thingy or those sippy cup type of pop-up, built-in short straws. So, the design was exactly what I wanted; however, the pop up doesn’t pop up. It requires two hands to get the lid open, so that was the first issue. The second issue is more egregious - this water bottle does not keep my water cold. At all. I fill it with ice and water and within an hour the ice has melted and the water is nearly room temperature.I’m so disappointed!!

The bottle has been pretty good at staying cold. It's nice to have the lock on the lid to be able to throw this thing in a bag. The autopop feature is a little on the finicky side, if you push to hard it won't pop, or sometimes you just need to manually pull the lid open. It's still more convenient than a screw top.The downer, at least for me, is that the hing holding the lid and carry loop together is just a flimsy rivet job. The rivet on one end of the hinge eventually popped off when carrying the bottle by the loop, and now the carry loop regularly pops off because the rivets not there to stop that from happening anymore. Probably would have been better if the hinge pin was threaded like a bolt and had a nut on one end instead of a rivet.

Tested the water leak when it first arrived and no leak were found like other review said.Locking feature easy to use, opening for mouth is large enough.Wash it before I store it away and cleaning is also easy. Time will tell if it holds.Will put updates.
