the cookies were delicious. My 16 year old granddaughter loved decorating them.

Tasted DISGUSTING but was fun to decorate. Only had to buy icing sugar to make this because I didn't have any lying around the house. Paints were really cool and looked like stickers but when you wet them, they turn into paint!

So very easy to do, make cookies, ice and then paint on the frosting! Bright beautiful colors. They were so muchfun to make. I did use my own paint brush. Highly recommended.

Don't waste your time on this kit. For starters, the inner package containing the cookie mix had a hole so every time the package was moved poofs of the cookie mix dust got all over everything (including everything else in my Amazon box). There was no damage to the outer kit box, but there was no way it could have gone unnoticed by the person handling the box before shipping with the amount that was coming out. Getting past that, the edible paints that were included were a joke, not even enough to paint the 12 cookies the mix should have made assuming half of it wasn't lost in transport. As for the cookie cutter, you could buy a better quality one and save yourself the overall disappointment of this kit. Glad I only paid $6 for the kit, because it is pretty much useless.

I bought this for my sister-in-law who lives in Az as a Christmas gift. I had it shipped to my house first to ensure that it would be in good condition before sending it on to her as a gift, because at the time of ordering the product description did not indicate if it included premade sugar cookies or a mix. It arrived in excellent condition. I was quite pleased. It includes everything you need for making the cookies, including the cookie cutter, which is really awesome.The colors look like they will be vibrant and lively just like Dia de Los Muertos is intended to be, but I haven't heard from her yet if she has made and tried them so I'm not sure how good these are when made with the included mix and icings.Since it shows immense detail on the cookies pictured I will share, from past experience with royal icing, be sure to let it set up completely before you try brushing your other colors on with the paintbrush or you will do nothing but smear everything together and create a muddy looking mess. Be delicate and light, not heavy handed when applying the decorative touches, not heavy-handed. I would recommend this kit to anyone, young or old, for a fun rainy day activity, especially since it's only 6 bucks!I will update my review (for better or worse) when I hear from my sister-in-law about how the cookies actually taste... or maybe I'll just buy a kit for myself and update it then... ;)

I loved that you had to MAKE the cookies and they didn’t come already made. This just showed you that they are fresh.

cookies tasted good. i bought a small thing of icing which was cheap the color palettes they gave you wasn't enough.

I shipped two kits to grandkids and the bags for frosting powder leaked everywhere in the kit!! :-( They will decorate them but can't use the powdered frosting. I do not recommend this product.
