Q: Can someone measure the gauge of the metal? Thunder Group won't answer in emails.

I pulled out the three and measured the sheet metal thickness with a micrometer. The sheet metal measured 0.032 inches which is 0.812mm. This converts to 20 gauge in aluminum. I must say that the metal is very substantial an I am quite pleased by its stability and strength.
