I had to rewrite my review because I wanted to talk about how it has held up for me! I had written my original review after only using the blender once or twice, so this review is more about how it lasts throughout use. Let me preface my review with an important note..... I bought my first blender from this brand in ***AUGUST of 2016.... and I just replaced it FEBRUARY 6th of 2018***...... It lasted that long..... Before you lay into me for using it that long, hear me out. This sponge is extremely durable! It holds up well, through anything. Being tossed in my makeup bag, getting squished under my mountains of makeup products, being washed every day, it just does not quit. However, here is an important tip that will help yours last just as long. Read below:If you mist your damp blender with setting spray before you apply your makeup, YOU MUST WASH IT EXTREMELY WELL AFTERWARDS. My setting spray made my sponge a little stiff towards the end of it's "life", and when I went to go wash it, it flaked away in my hands. The spray had made the outer layer a little stiff, which caused it to peel away when I washed it too aggressively one day.It basically fell apart in my hands. At that point, I had had the blender for over a year and had used it daily. If that is not longevity, I do not know what is.BUY THIS GOSH DARN BLENDER!!! :)

This blender is just like any other blender in the market out there. It is pretty good in quality. This blender applies makeup very well and evenly. It is simple to use, even for first time users. It even came with a free mini blender(pictured) for the eye area.The only cons I would have with this product would be that cleaning it is really hard. You can not tell when it is fully clean. Even after washing for more than 20 minutes, it still had makep residue held deep within it. Brushes in that manner are easier to clean and maintain. You can see the residue in the attached picture.In conclusion, I would recommend this blender to anyone wanting to try it. And for the price it is totally worth it. This review is truthfull and even though I recieved this product for a discount/free, it has not altered my opinion of the product in any way or form.I'm posting this review on behalf of my wife for whom I got this blender for.

Upon opening the box, I liked the size of the sponge. Unfortunately, it remained too dense even after soaking it in water and squeezing it out.It just doesn't have the right texture, or "smooshiness", to work well as a blending sponge.

Not as good as I was hoping, even when wet its still stiff and absorbs a lot of makeup, more than other beauty blenders I've used.

This is without a doubt the best beauty sponge blender that I have ever used! I use it damp. It is soft enough, does not soak up product and point on the end is perfect for around my eyes. I can turn the sponge and use another side to blend my contour if I use a cream. The little one that came with is great as well. I really like to tap in product around my eyes and make sure its blended and not right into fine lines. This product is great, especially for the price!

This is sooooo stiff of a sponge, it felt like I was doing my make up with a rock or something. I do love how big it gets when it's wet.
