Hollon B1500 In Ground Safe

The first safe I received I had to return. I'll tell you, that is no fun. The thing must weigh 100lbs. I could not get the thing to open. The combination lock was stiff, ruff to turn and after many attempts by several people we could not get the safe to open. There was no phone number to contact the manufacturer so I called Amazon, they let me return it and order another one. I could tell I was not the first recipient of this unit because the safe was marred and the protective cover for the locking mechanism had been removed. My guess is the previous recipient had the same trouble I had trying to get the lock to work. The second safe had the same issue with the lock not working smoothly. Hard to turn, erratic. We still could not open the safe. This time there was a phone number so I could contact the manufacturer. Even he could not help me to get the thing to open. How I got it to work was you must lift up on the dial while you are turning it. I would have returned this one but the slab was to be poured before I could get another unit delivered. I don't like spending $500 on something then have to jump through hoops to get it to work. I would not recommend this product.

This is a great safe, our contractor said it is one of the best for in ground safes that he has installed. Great value..!

A solid safe for home protection of your personal items. I could have gone cheaper, but I went with quality, and an American small company that actually answers emails. I haven't been disappointed.
