Mica is a bright, metallic powder that can be used to create details and highlights in your warm and hot glass work. It's also known as Pixie Dust. Add Metallic luster to your fused or flameworked art. Mica Powders work with any COE, except 33. Kit includes 6 ~ 1 oz bags of Mica Powder. One in each of the following: Sparkle Gold, Super Bronze, Inca Gold, Super Sparkle, Magna Pearl Silver and Super Copper. You can paint with Mica Powder. Mix a bit of Mica Powder with Klyr Fire medium and brush on. Or use a powder vibe for precise detail. For bead makers, sprinkle Mica Powder on a graphite marver and roll your hot and soft bead through the powder. Your bead must be hot and soft. Since the mica doesn't melt like glass frit, the bead must be soft to absorb the powder. Mica Powders are sold in 1 oz packets. A one ounce packet will do a dozen or more bowls. When used in a thin layer,1 oz. will cover approximately 10 sq. ft.
