Where are the FKM seals in this flow meter?

There are PVC ends that attach to the acrylic body and the your piping would attach to the PVC ends. The seals are where the PVC ends meet the body of the rotameter.

What is the minimum length of lead in pipe required to maintain a flow profile at the specified worst case accuracy?

It is good practice to approach the flowmeter inlet with as few elbows and restrictions as possible. The inlet piping should be as large as the connection to the flow meter. Length of inlet piping makes little difference for normal pressure fed flowmeters. Discharge piping should also be as large as the flowmeter connection and should not have an elbow or restriction immediately after the rotameter. For water flowmeters, water is generally incompressible and moderate back pressure will not affect the accuracy of the rotameter as calibrated.

is this suitable to be used to meter liquid fertilizers?

Most likely no. These are calibrated to the specific gravity of water, (1.0) whereas the specific gravity of fertilizer would probably be around 1.5-1.8? It would depend on the makeup of the fertilizer. We are a manufacturer, so if you knew the specific gravity of the fertilizer we could custom make rotameters and calibrate it to your specific gravity.
