Treasure Hunters: Peril at the Top of the World (Treasure Hunters, 4)

My daughter loves this collection.. it’s adventurous, engaging and age appropriate entertainment. She has asked for every subsequent book and wants to finish the series!

My son loves this series.. we have them all!

I have had a hard time getting my 12 year old son to read, but he LOVES the Treasure Hunter series. I just wish there were more books from this series! This book is an action packed spy thriller with a family that finds themselves involved in all types of adventures wherever their travels take them. In this book, Russia where they try to recover stolen daVinci and Rembrandt paintings.I was surprised to find that this was the same James Patterson that wrote the adult books that I have read Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider and at first was hesitant to let my son read these. But these books are completely age appropriate and fun at the same time.He is anxiously awaiting another book!!

My 7 year old is getting really into chapter books (or big boy books, as we call them) lately. After we started the 5th book in this series by mistake (I didn't realize it was part of a series) he just had to have the whole set. We read them every night before bed and we laugh out loud the entire time. It's an easy read and so relatable for a kid his age these days. I can't wait to see what the next adventure holds!

I have truly loved this series for my boys. We have spent nights talking about the adventures and wondering what it would be like to be a treasure hunter. Every time there is a picture we all need to see the extra detail that you can capture from the picture. The books are filled with imagination, spy gadgets, a little history, good characters gone bad, suspense and good creative fun. We hope there is more to come.

I really liked the book, so don't go and read the reviews and think it's going to be awful. Personally, I liked the book but I can see why some people would complain about the global warming thing. It wasn't quite as good as the first two and the third was ok, but I thought the ending was a little weak, and the Larissa character was kinda unnecessary. Overall it was a good book and I would recommend it to ages 10-12 just because of the political aspect.

Taking a chance with this book~~ my grandson has not read it yet, I think. James Patterson is one of his fav authors!! I love Barnes/Noble. I always seem to be one step behind!!! I have James Patterons #2, didn't know there was a#1. I have read to my grandchildren from the time they were born-they are now 11/9. Avid readers, way above the charts. My 9 year old picky reader loves these books! I read to him every night as our special time together. I stumbled upon this series & we are now on book 3. We both can't get enough. They are page turners! There are historical facts woven into the storyline, so there is an educational component, which I love. The action is what he loves. My only problem is: what are we going to read when we've finished the series, lol?!

My 10 year old son loves the whole set. He wasn't much of a reader and choose shorter books. These ones have close to 300 pages and he just goes through them. It's too bad there are only 6 in the set as I'd love to keep him reading.

If you have been following the story of the "Kidds". So far, then this book is a must read as it answers all the questions. If you have not read the other stories, then please first go and buy the other 3 books and read them in order or you will just spoil the fun for your self.

Fun and action packed. Great book for all ages👏Has many valuable life lessons which is great for your kids. My son is a reluctant reader but he loves this book. I can't stop him from reading it.🚹
