I bought this Bead Spinner because the selection I wanted went out of stock and has been out for awhile. I was introduced to the Bead Spinner by My Daughter. She do not bead, but for some reason she is always viewing Beading Tutorials. I suspect it’s because I “Bead” and it takes her away from her own projects for awhile.After I viewed how to use one on a tutorial, I immediately went on Amazon to buy one. The one that Iwanted became unavailable before I could get one. So, I waited for a couple of weeks. And when it didn’t become available, I decided on this one. I was reluctant because this one isn’t as attractive as the first one that I wanted. I dislike the tall rod in the middle of the spinning bowl. But I wanted a Bead Spinner!The price was right so I took a chance and bought it. When I got it I didn’t open it right away. I wasn’t sure if I had the confidence to use it. I eventually opened it and tried it, without beads. It had a rattling sound. But at least I knew how to spin it. Today I decided to put what I had learned and the Spinner to the test.I recently bought a lot of Seed Beads. I bought Red, White, and “Blue” Beads, in individual jars. I placed some of the “blue beads” into the Spinner and placed the spinning needle in the direction to catch the beads, as instructed. It worked. After I spun about a half a needle of beads on, the test was over. I didn’t thread the needle. So I had to keep them from falling off of the other end.The rattling seemed to have calmed down. I simply put the beads that were on the needle back into the bowl. Then I emptied it. I’m satisfied. It will certainly work for my upcoming project. I’m still planning to buy the other Bead Spinner. And I will have to look for other Blue Seed Beads because the “Blue Beads” I bought are not “Blue”. But I will save this for when I review those beads.

Having very limited vision and basically no depth perception, as I'm blind in one eye, I was really hoping this thing would help allow me to use size 11/0 beads again, as well as make using 8/0 beads way more fast and easy. I tried this spinner a few times, different angles, speeds, various amounts/levels of beads, just couldn't get it to work. Ironically, I found that using the beading needles that came with it, by dragging them over a pile of small beads was actually more effective at picking up/stringing a row of beads.

The media could not be loaded.  It didn’t come with the 2 needles it promises, and makes a terrible (pretty loud too) sound when you spin it "too fast" you wouldn’t think it was too fast but who knows. I did contact Amazon customer service, they TRIED making me send it back entirely to get it resent, but I wasn’t about to sent the main part back just to get 2 small pieces. They ended up just sending a replacement for free with out having to send anything back. So I’m not upset. I like the metal rod and the spinner in general seems nice and solid (tip: don’t spin it too fast or your needs will go everywhere)

I bought one and I love it but now I don't use it so if you would like to buy mines for half the prices, let me know IG: therealneah

needles broke after a month. I just ended up getting some more on Amazon.
