I’ve never been into glam, but I was looking for an artful lamp that would make my piano nook look glamorous, and this is it! The crystals are stunning, and I feel extra fancy. It’s bright enough for most things (perhaps not intense or sustained reading or sewing but probably most other things), and the dimmer feels like luxury. I can see how the lamp could Set A Mood, if one wished.The base is marble, so it’s not going anywhere. It’s not tippy at all.Assembly wasn’t too difficult. The instructions were in the little bag with the wrench. I’m sure assembly would be easier with two people because you have to hold up the heavy base while screwing in the pole because the screw goes into the bottom of the base. It took me a while to figure out how to balance the pieces and still use the wrench. Another person simply holding it would have solved a lot of problems. However, I’m an independent woman, and I got it done with moderate swearing. After that, the assembly was quite easy and obvious. The light bulbs are these tiny little flat things—so cute!I will say, the box is very heavy and big (tall). I was able to scoot it in the front door, but then I asked for help moving it upstairs. I could have slid the box up on its side had help not been at hand.

This lamp was the perfect addition to my eclectic modern and mid-century living room. After I took the Christmas tree down, I wanted some sparkle and opted for this floor lamp. I bought the table lamp as well (also on amazon) and placed that on the console table beneath the tv. This lamp is easy to assemble and very sturdy. I love that it is dimmable, the arms rotate and the heads are also adjustable in angle. It really adds beautiful sparkle and interest to the room without being gauche or girl-y. As per the other reviewers, the pictures do not adequately show the type of light from this lamp. You can get an idea by seeing the shimmers on the wall reflection. I am incredibly happy with this purchase.

UPDATED:The first lamp came defective (pic).Here's a recap of that:Two days after setting it up, I decided to lift the crystal balls up which, as mentioned, is one of lamp's many customization features. All got lifted well except one when I noticed that it is barely screwed in. I start turning it and end up with the ball in my hand. The screw thread is fractured and a part of it comes out while staying screwed to the ball. I turned off the light immediately.The replacement came on time and no defects. Onto the good stuff:-It was easy to set up which is a HUGE bonus!-The lamp looks gorgeous!-Customizable: you can move branches in different ways and you can also move the crystal balls upwards-The base is very heavy and sturdy. I have a similar lamp I bought long time ago and the base was a joke! This one is perfect!-Dimming is available on this lamp also.-Still serves me perfectly and survived the move. It's been over 2 years so far since I purchased it.

The box arrived quite damaged so I was worried about the lamp - but the styrofoam packaging protected it well!! Easy to assemble and absolutely beautiful. Very happy with this purchase!! The base is marble and very heavy to keep lamp in place. The dimmer switch is smooth and really makes this lamp perfect for reading or relaxing.

Missing the stand for the lamp

Absolutely gorgeous lamp. I was not sure about ordering such an expensive lamp without seeing a demo display unit in person but I am so glad I took that chance! It is such a beautiful lamp that looks perfect in my living room. I was looking for something stylish as well as functional, and I finally found one! It gave a new, modern look plus brighten up the light inside my home. Everybody likes it and asking where did we get it from! We are very pleased with our purchase.Just one thing to remind you - the base is pretty heavy and it's a tall lamp, so I recommend that you find a partner for assembly.
