Price is right and the product is great
We own a different brand polywood table and chair set for out outdoor sitting area. We purchased the set from a local store and the price was outrageous at $5,000. We decided to purchase two chase lounges for our pool deck from the same store but they wanted $950 each. We ended up purchasing these polywood chairs but were a little skeptical because of the lower price. I'm glad that we did because these are as every bit as good as the expensive chairs from our local retailer. We live in a Florida beach town where temperatures are typically in the low to mid 90's. We purchased the teak color and they don't get scorching hot as one might expect. Our only concern was that the back adjuster bar is metal and we live near salt air. The bar is actually powder coated aluminum and is holding up nice. Most of the chairs like this on the market use a metal adjuster bar. I have not read about any concerns of rusting. We are so glad we made the purchase and are impressed with the quality. There are many reviews that complain about the assembly. These complaints may be justified if you use the allen wenches supplied. I used a socket style allen wrench with a 3/8 drive ratchet and a 4 inch extension, which made assembly a breeze. It took twenty minutes per chair with these tools from the time i cut the box open until I was lounging on the chair with a cold drink.

Heavy and Robust
Bought three of these for our pool area, where every other set of furniture has been decimated by the Texas summer sun. These are resort-quality lounges, VERY heavy compared to anything I've had before. Remains to be seen if these will hold up, but they will certainly stand up to almost any wind and weather, judging on looks and build quality alone. Are they worth over $320 each? No. They are overpriced for what you get. I'd like these to be slightly taller by about 2-4 inches, and maybe a bit wider too. The tools supplied are sub-par: the supplied L shaped allen wrench will leave your fingers and hands sore and the T-shaped one is useless for putting the legs onto the base. Pro Tip: If you have a #4 allen socket and ratchet, it'll save you a lot of time putting it together.Overall, easy to assemble, sturdy and I'm happy with my purchase.

Awesome Chaise
I am very satisfied with this chaise. The material is something like a Trex deck. It looks good, it's strong and it's weather proof. I chose teak color and it looks very good. The box is heavy at just over 50 pounds. Assembly is about what I expected. You need to hold slightly awkward pieces together and install screws. Tools are included but there are some screws that are in spaces too tight to make a complete revolution of the driver. This results in slightly tedious removal and reinsertion of the driver in the screw head. Make sure you get the right screw in the right hole. There are 3 sizes of screws and instructions are clear and simple. Assembly took maybe 25 minutes at a leisurely pace. Once assembled the chaise is very sturdy and has a nice range of positions for the back. The armrests are comfortable and well positioned. Without a cover the chaise is about what you would expect in terms of rigid surface but not uncomfortable. I purchased a cushion; Classic Accessories Storigami Water-Resistant 72 x 21 Inch Chaise Lounge Cushion, Light Charcoal; to use with the chaise and I am very pleased with the pairing. The fit is great, with about 1"-2" exposed chaise at the foot. With the cushion the chaise is extremely comfortable. It looks and feels like a high quality piece you would find at a premium resort. The chaise has a great 20 year warranty which I doubt I will ever need to use. I appreciated that this company did not ask me to fill anything out for the warranty. Some companies try to make this seem like a requirement so that they can collect marketing data. Polywood invites you to join the "owners community" but makes it clear it is completely optional. The warranty does require a serial number that is printed on a sticker on one of the legs. I suggest taking a picture of this code or write it down first thing before assembly.

Cheap poor quality
I bought sturdier chairs at Costco. The "wood" is thin. The fasteners are trash. Allen heads? Seriously? And they're not stainless. Half the heads stripped while trying to assemble the chair. The included Allen wrench is worthless for assembly. And if I got it together with their hardware... It'd rust on my pool deck.I'll add something to make this review more constructive. I went to home depot and bought replacement hardware. Got stainless steel 1/4 inch lag screws in the 3 appropriate sizes. I used a 7/8 socket and my electric drill and had the thing together in 5 minutes. It's sturdier, won't rust, nothing stripped, and no need to turn an allen wrench 500 times.

Delighted
Polywood furniture is so sturdy, and it is weatherproof, and it looks great. This chaise was a little tricky to assemble, but we got it and now it's out there in the rain and cold, and it's fine. The one thing I will point out though is that while it is easy to clean off, the dirt does get into the fake woodgrain texture a bit, so won't look brand new unless you really scrub it. We don't mind it, just setting expectations.
