POP & Lock - Toyota Tundra Heavy Duty Power Tailgate Lock with Plug and Play T-Harness

This fit my 2017 Toyota Tundra perfectly. It was simple to install and the wire harness was a direct fit. The only thing I had to really modify was drilling a small hole in the rubber gasket underneath the passenger side floor board. This works great and is quiet. I can’t hear the lock unless I’m at the tailgate locking and unlocking it.

One of the best, well designed products I’ve used in some time. Went together in less than an hour, way easier than I expected and I’m experienced with automotive maintenance etc. Even the replacement grommets were perfect. I had install the Decked drawer system a while ago and now I can lock things away with the push of a button. The drawers can’t be accessed while the tailgate is locked and I don’t have to wonder if I remembered to lock it anymore. Couldn’t be happier with the fit and finish of the product. Included everything except a couple hand tools.

Plug and play. Good installation instructions. Yes it’s noisy but I lined the inside of the tailgate with as much dynamat as possible, now it’s great.

Works like a charm. The factory wiring harness adapter made the install very easy.

It took me about 1 HR to install. The introductions easy to follow. I like the idea that I can lock my tailgate with a solid bed cover it gives me the added security of my tools I keep in the bed. And the ease of using my remote to lock anh unloc makes even better.

Installation is very easy. You do have to route a wire along the truck frame but it was a piece of cake and I'm over 60. The rest is just bolting on or removing and replacing trim panels. It's been a few months and I definitely would recommend thos lock to Tundra owners if they want to secure their truck bed.

I love that I use the fob to lock the doors and this allows the tailgate to be secured at the same time.

Was very easy to install, plug and play, didn't have to cut any wires. Just had some hard time fishing the wire underneath the truck. Took me about an hour.

Should have bought one of these years ago. My only issue was with the instructions. The pictures didn’t exactly illustrate what my Tundra had. Other than that, it was super easy to install.
