Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence

This album reminds me of 2112 by (you should know). Its divided into two parts, the title track song (which is 45 or something in length) which is just extraordinary in musicianship and composition. The other part is just 'normal' songs. The Glass Prison being my favorite (I honestly don't get why people hate the 12 step suite, I think is BADASS, at least musically)

Most intricately well done well produced album I have ever bought

One of the best - if not the greatest - album of the 21st century finally hits my favorite format. I've already spun this 3-4 times. I'm not a sound or tech expert, but to me it sounds incredible. Still hoping we can get "Awake," "Train of Thought," and "Falling Into Infinity" on vinyl soon.

Probably one of the best albums ever.

Great quality vinyl and a great album. The album is that shiny paper sort of material unlike many other LP gatefolds. I prefer non-gloss I think.

Six degrees is a double album containing the Long 40+ minute song that is self titled which is six separate parts about six different mental Difficulties potentially controversial subject matter, The music on this song is Very varied and imaginative and Full of Energy with Twelve String acoustic guitar parts, coupled with Dramatic orchestral parts too. Brilliant song with excellent lyrics and fabulously performed vocals from Both Labrie and Portnoy.The music takes on lots and weaves and turns.the five tracks on side 1 are Energetic, and include a part of Portnoy's Alcohol suite thing. Again the music is very varied and creative they even have vinyl scratching sounds from the keyboard and it is very fresh and original on this album. For example on the Keyboard in The Glass Prison there is a keyboard affect I can only describe as the hip hop wicky wicky effect and similar sounds all very fun and despite being a very long album it keeps you very much engaged.As for sound quality the Vinyl version of this album is exceptional the bass has been brought forward slightly and so it sound more power and impacting and there is an immense amount of space in the music you can hear all the music clearly and all the over dubs cleanly too, the keyboards don't ever disappear and the subtlties really stand out which is great it doesn't sound compressed or anthing bu then the cd doesn't either as it was released before the compression thing So yes a Brilliant album

super quality! ! ! ! ! ! the plate shakes by quality of sounding! ! ! ! everything sounds easily and is transparent/weight vinyl the very silent! ! ! ! envelope and insert simply super! ! ! ! I wait for continuation of releases of dream teather from music on vinyl! ! ! ! ! !

Great album

Che dire, parte con 15 minuti di potenza pura per proseguire con pezzi diversi tra loro ma sempre ottimi, spicca su tutti la bellissima "Blind Faith".Seconda parte composta da una suite di 45 minuti da ascoltare tutto dun fiato.....

come per le altre recensioni, non mi esprimo sulla qualità artistica, poichè questa è sempre una cosa soggettiva, ma sulla qualità del vinile. beh..ottima!vinile pesante, silenzioso, ben stampato e senza antipatici residui di stampa. ottimo packaging.sulla consegna di amazon come sempre, niente da dire..precisi e puntualissimi
