Lays it down and closes it up!
Zero dislikes. Owned the used mag for a year almost to the day. I'm a union cement mason so I use this tool every day I work, 5 days a week. I like the cork feel over wood or rubber. That is why I purchased another. I read a review which stated the paint was chipping off...lol you don't need paint on your mag to finish concrete. These mags are "broken in" so no painted finish on the bottom. Mags with paint I sand off with my grinder. The magnesium metal is what magically closes up the wet concrete. For u do it yourself first timers using bag concrete. Here is a valuable tip. For every 4 bags of concrete (sand cement rock) use 1 bag 90 lbs. bag portland cement. Yes is just a bag of cement. No rock or sand. This will allow you to give your sidewalk/patio a beautiful finish. Trust me...I know what I'm doing. Lol but seriously folks. The mag works.

Needs breaking in
At first it may not be good, but once you break it in and use it a couple more times it's the best.

Great tool
I bought htis for my husband... Omg was I the cool kid that day. He loves it! He never had a cork handled trowel and says he'll never go back. Lol it still looks great and he works with it daily.

I was skeptical of the cork handle at purchase, but now that I have used it several times I love it.

Didn’t last long
I had purchased the float in August and it didn’t even make it into the new year. I honestly hadn’t even used it as much as I normally would have, I also made sure to treat it nice and not to beat on it. Sometime in November I the crew and I were pouring some curb and gutter along with some sidewalk and median curb. Anyway I was going along (and mind you the temp outside wasn’t so drastically cold or so cold to had expected what happened) and with the next mundane motion the bolts snapped. I’ll spare you and not go into detail of what else I personally found lacking from this float. To say the least I was very, very disappointed with this “Elite” series float.
