Q: Do they stay the color once they are under uv light or do they go back to clear when they are out of uv light?

They ate uv reactive so when you are out in regular sun light they become pastel multi color. Than indoors they are a clear offwhite also in the dark they glow. Black light will also produce glowing effect.

Q: Is something wrong with this order? the beads are all transparent in any light but glow in the dark. no color!!!

This works by being both glow in the dark and then particles in the beads make the color. I know, I wasnt very scientific there but the point is it will have that characteristic green that glows in the dark, but when in sunlight (not darkness) you cant see the green glow but the process still occurs and so you get color. Try putting it in UV light, not just basic indoor lighting. If it still doesnt work, they're just glow in the dark but these SHOULD show color in light.

Q: Will a UV lamp work to change the color of these beads?

It works a little bit, but it's hard to tell the difference between similar colors (yellow/orange or purple/indigo) and it doesn't change the color for very long.
