Simple relay controller does the job
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this for my camper conversion. Instructions were poorly written obviously it's a Chinese product. So I initially had a bit of confusion as to what the yellow wire was. It's a manual override for the relay so connecting it to ground by hand will open the switch to charge aux battery.I've installed the relay (as you can see in the video) by mounting on a piece of wood in the engine bay. The relay needs to be as close to the starter battery as possible. The cable is more than long enough to run through engine bay, cab and to aux battery.So now my aux being charge every time the engine is running and this is indicted by a small led on the relay itself. I've also tested with multimeter and it certainly does the job just fine. I'm happy with it.4 stars for the poor instructions
