Best home office equipment I've ever tried!!
Honestly I wasn't completely sold when I first saw that Anker is starting to do home office equipments, but decided to give it a try since I do like and trust the brand.Turned out to be the best purchase I've made since working from home!!It's certainly more pricy than many other webcams on the market, but I found it so worth every penny I paid.Initially, I thought the basic webcam that comes with my laptop should be sufficient; however, I soon realized how powerful this webcam is, with an extremely high video quality which enables for a much better professional look with a perfect video angle (very easily adjustable ❤️❤️ great product design!!!) , as well as the high-quality voice with noise canceling functionality. (See picture attached for a comparison of using Zoom with MacBook Pro 2019 built-in camera, taken at the exact same location, lighting, angle etc)The Plug and play support that comes with this webcam was AMAZING.🥳 By simply connecting the webcam to my laptop anytime, anywhere, (or even my friend's laptop for the first time!), NO SETUP NEEDED, it immediately enables the mic and video perfectly whenever I join video conference calls via Google Meet, Zoom, and a bunch of other apps I didn't personally try out (WebEx Teams, Microsoft Teams, etc)And bonus points for being a great help to my roommate who used this webcam for tons of interviews while job hunting during covid, said it always worked perfectly, led to great video conference experiences, and was a great help in landing a new job offer recently!

Works much better than the one I replaced
I needed a camera that sits about 8 feet away from our table and I need to see 7 people at the table. Three on each side and one at the end. This camera does that. It also adjusts as different speakers speak. If somebody walks in the room it will shift its center of focus slightly to pick up the new person. You have to down load the software for this feature. The camera does not rotate physically. This camera tracks the motion (even quick movements) of the different people at the table smoothly. Our old camera became jerky. Amazon does not sell it anymore. You can set the horizantal viewing angle to 120 degrees. But with our camera 8 feet away, I think we were able to make 78 degrees work. You can adjust the angle with the software. If you are going to use the camera with differnt computers, I suspect you will need to load the software on each one. Images are clear, although I don't think we ever cleaned off the lense on the old one. You can adjust where the camera is pointing. Vertical and horizantal adjustments are possible. There is no motor to point the camera, you must do that manually. This camera has a short cable (six or eight inches) that comes out of it. The connector is the smaller USB C connector. It comes with a converter to USB A. Which is fine, however, the signal will not convert back to USB C on the USB C hub that I have. You can plug it in but it does not work. So you have to plug the cable directly into a USB A port on your computer. Might work with other hubs. Or you might be able to get a long USB C cable with appropriate connectors that would plug into a usb c hub. This camera is 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second (fps). Most current cameras are 30. Anker makes cameras that go to 4k resolution. 1080p has been fine for us. We have been using this for about 2 months. The higher resolution cameras may not capture the wider angle. Check the specs. We do not use the microphone on the camera we have an Anker blue tooth speaker/mic that we put on the table. This camera connects with a hard wire USB cable (as I said above). I don't think the technology is there on wifi yet. I think video would lag the audio.Out internet connection is 115mbps or so up and down. We use this for zoom meetings. Works fine. ATT is trying to sell us 300 mbps, but we don't need it. We have three computers and three cell phones connected. This has worked fine for over a year.

Good camera but autofocus struggles
The media could not be loaded. I teach group fitness classes in a small room so I need a wide angle webcam. This one was recommended by a couple of fitness websites as being a decent camera, and for $99 I figured it would be worth trying. I like the picture quality and the fact that it had auto focus and was pretty much plug and play. My image is clearer and looks good in recorded videos. It did take a few minutes for my computer to find and register the webcam. Long enough that I was concerned it wasn't going to work properly, but it connected and I got it working. The biggest issue I have is the auto focus seems to be pretty laggy and glitchy. I'm in a small room, and if I move to the side to grab weights then step back to the center, it struggles to keep me in focus and takes a few seconds to find me again and clear up the picture. Not a good thing when I'm teaching a class like cardio kickboxing where I'm moving around quite a bit. I'll use this one for now but I'm going to keep looking for something else.

Great little cam, excellent customer service.
This is the 3rd webcam I’ve purchased since The great work-from-home era began last spring. Finding a good one that isn’t way over priced bas been a real adventure. This one was more than I really wanted to spend too, but it seems worth the price, at least on 2021 terms. The picture is great, and the color rendering and auto exposure is the best I’ve ever seen on a webcam, and the mic sounds nice and full. I also really appreciate the ability to choose a couple of different aspects. Really nice touch.I also want to just say thanks to Anker for their incredible customer service. The first camera I ordered got lost in the mail. USPS claimed they delivered it, but they absolutely never delivered it. USPS’s response was a collective shrug. Like it was astonishing how little they cared. I reached out to Anker expecting I may just be out of luck, but Ada, the service rep was so kind and helpful. Once it was clear USPS wasn’t going to do anything she shipped me a new one immediately. The most pleasant customer service experience I’ve had in awhile. Thanks Anker and thanks Ada!I buy a lot of Anker products. They work great, are built well and fairly priced. And it turns out their people are great too. Makes it easy to keep buying Anker products.
