Great replacement part
Was worried since this is not an original part but its been months of daily use with no issues. Doesn't over heat, or drain battery extra. Over all this is a great replacement part.

Skeptical,but really works!
so my wires were fried and melted on the ninebot max originally. which made my back tire sound like humming sound or sounded like a car exhaust. So I decided to take a chance and get this and it works! honestly really sketch because this is not an original ninebot max controller. So far it haven’t melted my wires and hopefully not! I have added electrical tape to the green, yellow and blue wire. Surprisingly this made my ninebot max faster! I don’t know why????but it does! I’ve reached 30mph on a dead flat, but of course also means faster battery draining, but it’s not drastic. it keeps up with my Apollo explore when in gear 2 going on a flat straight. I don’t have it connected with app. so don’t know about it. it turns on and off and it goes! Ive had it on S mode the whole time and use it to ride around the neighborhood and inside high school track in circles on constant S mode. I’ve been checking weekly to see if my wires are fried once a week and haven’t seen them toasted yet. if so then I’m going to redo this review, but no problems have risen. video to show to goes faster. Wasn’t looking to mod it to make it faster, but I’m happy with it :)

Fixed the issue, some small kinks though
I had the infamous melted wire issue due to the regenerative braking connector getting too hot. Once continuity is lost between the controller and the motor, the mosfet chip inside the controller fries itself. Have had the scooter for 3 years and love it so much I didn’t want to get rid of it. So I bought this controller to fix it. It arrived same day. Installed it and the scooter works again. This controller allows the scooter to go faster (original speed is 19mph, now it goes 22mph) however, you can not take it out of km/h and you cannot marry your account to it because it’s already married to someone else’s. Other than that, it works great. If you are fairly handy the replacement won’t take longer than 20 minutes. Highly recommend this to anyone who’s fallen victim to the Segway melted wire curse.

Controller is already bound to an account called "yariks"
Controller works fine, but one MAJOR flaw is that it's already bound to an account called "yariks". It seems like a common issue among these "XBOT" controllers. Since the controller is already bound, you can't sync the scooter to your app and make changes since there is already a serial number assigned. Once you exit out of the app and reopen it, the connection is lost and you'll need to reconnect via bluetooth again. Firmware updates seem to work, but unsure if this is a customer firmware as the scooter feels faster than usual (but also more jerky). If you don't care about using the app then this controller works fine as a non-OEM replacement. Otherwise, I'd go with an OEM controller so you can avoid this dilemma.

Works for better or worse
Works for the Segway Ninebot Max G30p. Not oem. Will display km/hr only. Max speed is 22mph! Cannot update firmware. App connection is not consistent and you will log in as a non-owner. No regen braking so I have coasted downhill to 26mph+. More fun for sure!

Perfect it seems@
Seems to be performing perfectly! And affordable. I was apprehensive because of the price. The scooter seems to be more responsive. That will take time to adjust to. Not sure if that is a result of the controller. But Thank You!
